This is the type of video you expect to see dead bodies casually strown about, and I'm shocked there wasn't. Also, how the hell can he be so bad at pointing the camera? It reminds me of when he thought that because the image was reversed in the view finder, it was reversed in the recording, and then uploaded the video with the writing clearly going the right way. I think your 1st idea was correct, he thinks the camera records what he's looking at.

I suspect Lucas still has a payee. That is how the African flop house gets their rent. However, the rent must be way less than Mallon Place and Lucas also got his beloved food stamps back. So, likely Lucas just has more spending money now due to the Nigerians taking less of his money.

I'd argue that if you gave lucas a million dollars and left him to his own devices as to what to do with it he'd end up in a far worse spot by the time he was done. After all the first thing he would do is gorge himself on as much food as he could get his hands on. The second thing would be to leave his tardhouse and get an apartment or house so he could do what he wanted away from prying eyes and so he could use it as bait for a zoomer bae. Naturally he'd blow the rest of the money in record time and wouldn't be able to pay for his housing. He'd end up losing it and be back on the street as by that time his current housing spot would have long since been filled by somebody else
The only difference with how things were when he started the whole saga would be that he would be fatter from eating like a pig and angrier from 'capitalism' costing him his house and leaving him on the street, and of course from no zoomer bae actually going for his bait
