This is the type of video you expect to see dead bodies casually strown about, and I'm shocked there wasn't. Also, how the hell can he be so bad at pointing the camera? It's like as soon as he has to open the box or bag, it just drifts off target. It reminds me of when he thought that because the image was reversed in the view finder, it was reversed in the recording, and then uploaded the video with the writing clearly going the right way. I think your 1st idea was correct, he thinks the camera records what he's looking at.

I guess Lucas' payee is no more after Mallon took all his money for years. But, I suppose there isn't much else Lucas can do with that money anyway, so whatever.

I suspect Lucas still has a payee. That is how the African flop house gets their rent. However, the rent must be way less than Mallon Place and Lucas also got his beloved food stamps back. So, likely Lucas just has more spending money now due to the Nigerians taking less of his money.
