Reminds me of people who would post about their problems on twitter or tumblr, and then get pissed off when people offered them advice because clearly, they posted to thousands or in some cases millions of people to have their thoughts ignored, not responded to.
There are also stories of women not wanting their men following them on Instagram or Tiktok because that's their "private internet". That's not how it works, that's not how it's ever worked. Lewis should know this after twenty years but if he knew anything he'd have given this up long ago and gotten a real job.

This has been a problem on the internet since the very beginning. People legitimately log on everyday expecting that there isn't a possibility that they might have a negative interaction with somebody. It is part of the reason why this website exists.
I mean, how many times on Something Awful back in the day did users who lived in squalor act shocked when people told them there living conditions aren't normal?
