https://youtube.com/watch?v=hxZ24h6wqXsThis is a recent debate on Leaving Neverland in France. These hosts are just tearing Dan Reed apart and I don't know how he's going to recover.

Ha, that was fantastic. Highly entertaining. A few highlights:

"There's an email that proves Wade wasn't fired in 2012, he left"
"Why wasn't it in the film?"
"It's fan debate, not evidence"
-----
"Don't you think you should have approached the documentary from both sides?"
"I don't understand."
------
Child psychiatrist, talking about projection, how children abused by their own fathers can accuse the wrong person, with the additional detail of mothers acting weirdly, and how that might have been an avenue Reed could explore.
"No."

I watched the doc and definitely think the guy with the dad who killed himself was molested by the dad. There's way too much weirdness around "I couldn't tell my mom I was molested, it'd kill her" and a lot of weird secrecy about the dad.

Now, that doesn't mean he wasn't molested by MJ, of course (nor does it mean he was). Sexual abusers, especially the grooming type, know how to spot a kid who's already been groomed to accept abuse and keep quiet.

Updated OP from @MirnaMinkoff

HBO just finished a four-hour documentary focusing on Michael Jackson's grooming and rape of two boys. These boys were just two of many.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=R_Ze8LjzV7Q
The boys, James Safechuck and Wade Robeson, were molested by Michael Jackson over a five year period from the ages of seven to twelve.

Here's a story with some of the highlights. Here's another.

The documentary is very well done and really gives insight into how predatory pedophiles groom children, and even their families. I highly recommend the documentary, it's terrifying and haunting to watch. Even Oprah has stepped into the fray to support the victims and interviewed them after the doco aired on HBO.
MJ was a bit peculiar with his personal life. However, the bigger elephant in the room is that he named the Jew on more than one occasion and when you do that, you end up with a target on your back and 'encouragement' to his former circle to 'come forward'.

Vince Russo's take:

Russo is convinced it's a shoot, bro!
Stevie Richard's thinks they are all a bunch of liars!
Razorfist argues facts vs emotions !
Bin compares Neverland to WWE!

Does this mean when Vince McMahon dies, we'll get a Leaving Titan Towers Documentary? And if we do, will this guy be the one they interview:

He did claim he was sexually assaulted by McMahon.

Razorfist is going to be holding a stream interview with Taj and Brandi Jackson, t-minus an hour:

I watched the documentary a few nights ago and felt mixed.
  • I believe their story. The way they talked about their experiences and looked pained is how someone whose been abused would feel while talking about the events.
  • The photo evidence of MJ with different kids is suspicious. He probably didn’t molest Culkin because he was an A-list child star.
  • Abused children in extreme cases will hide the abuse out of guilt. Why tell your parents what happened when it could cost them to lose celebrity connections? It’s sad but victims do have these thoughts and contradictions due to trauma.
Those were the most interesting aspects of the film along with Oprah’s special. It was good she highlighted an important topic like abuse and brought awareness to it.

My biggest complaint about Leaving Neverland is that as a documentary it’s dull and confusing. Stories told during it seemed to be out of order
People talking about it and having discussion is more interesting than the film itself.

It's probably because it wasn't really meant as a documentary, just as a sleaze-o-rama last ditch attempt to squeeze some money out of these lurid stories knowing people are still fascinated enough by MJ to watch it even if it was poorly put together schlock.

Agreed. I got tired of hearing about the family members and wish it had just focused on the victims and MJ. People overhyped how disturbing the documentary was. Documentaries like Abducting in Plainsight are far more disturbing.

It was hard to watch because they kept contradicting their stories within the documentary. Their moms claim that they knew but not really until 2013. They claim MJ was at a certain place with them but the dates wouldn't add up. One of them pretty much lied in court which is the biggest red flag.

If you think their stories are believable you have Dan Reed to thank for that. He pretty much coached them on what to say. Reed won't even answer questions about the documentary which is rather telling.

Alright, you finally white knighted MJ enough times, the obvious pedophile isn't a pedophile, all those kids are fucking liars, probably cut up their own assholes for fun, and besides, they were asking for it.

I'm just stating the facts rather than getting irrationally angry. I gave my sources that disproved the allegations and some of you are very salty about it. For a site that claims that's very thorough about factual evidence, some of you sure fell for the narrative the mainstream media pushed about MJ for decades.

This entire thread is some sort of potato slapfight.

The documentary was poorly made and emotionally manipulative.

MJ is a massive creep who probably did prey on boys with varying degrees of success, but either these two men are witnesses co-opting someone else's story to shine the spotlight on themselves, or they were abused by someone who was not MJ.

If these two are going to be the faces of the MJ was a pedo movement, I expect rivers of entertainment to flow, just like Asia Argento trying to do it with #MeToo.

Those 2 guys have tried to sue the estate for millions but that didn't work because they lied in court.

The reason people (mostly the media) are trying to say "MJ was a pedo" is because Harvey Weinstein has a documentary and a court case now. They're deflecting attention from an obvious predator that has legitimate evidence against him. Keep in mind Oprah who did the interview with the two men is friends with Harvey.

But no we gotta make a mockumentary about a dead man that was found not guilty.

This is absurd. Defend Jacko all you like; I'll even join you in the view that the documentary is slanted and likely opportunistic. But the notion that you're going to distract from Harvey Weinstein's likely guilt by producing a documentary that reinforces the view that Hollywood is a den of perverts and predators who have been protected for decades makes about as much sense as a rubber crutch.

Then why don't we hear about Harvey's documentary or his trial? There's no doubt that people are still trying to protect him and make him look less bad. Since he's the center of #metoo there should be more stuff about the people associated with him.

And recently Oprah's interview with Wade and Safechuck has been removed from her channel and other social media accounts. Doesn't that seem strange?

I'm not going to deny that there are legions of bootlickers and assorted scumbags doing everything they can to save Harvey (and, by extension, themselves in many cases), and the general quiet around his current legal straits is troubling. But I don't see how this documentary would help him in any way. Too many longstanding practices and winking at Hollywood depravity are implicated by it. If anything, I could see it as being used to hurt Weinstein: "Look at what Jackson got away with! Do something about Harvey Weinstein while there's still a chance!"

If anything it seems to me that people are making MJ out to be a fall guy even after he's been dead for nearly a decade. The courts found him not guilty of anything and people are still mad about it. The worst thing MJ did to those families was cut them off because they were opportunistic and always wanted stuff from him.

Meanwhile real predators within the Hollywood sphere got away with a lot because the they didn't have a spotlight on them at all times. People don't realize how incredibly invasive the media and paparazzi were in MJ's life. He had no privacy at all.

Oprah on the other hand is confirmed to be involved with Winestein. And it's been implied that she pimped out young vulnerable actresses to him.

Look stan for MJ however much you want, but having a harem of preteen boys is creepy. Having mountains of porn and booze easily accessible to said harem of preteen boys is dangerous. Covering your infant's face with a blanket and dangling him from the balcony for attention is outright why did no one call CPS moment.

I myself lived in an era where I was given x amount of money to buy cigs, booze, porn rags etc as an errand for a parent/adult. Then suddenly this was not cool, and I can acknowledge that while nothing bad happened to me running these errands, these are fucked up things that should not have happened.

MJ is far from the only "historical figure" getting a revisionist spotlight. The only reason this seems so big is because people like you are making waves about it.

However manipulative and appealing to emotion the documentary was, it was not a good one, and quite obviously not factchecked. Once the manufactured shock and ew gross factor wears off, nobody is going to care.

Also if you want to talk about Weinstein, make a separate thread or go to the #MeToo thread. You insist that anyone whose attention is being held by MJ will forget completely about Weinstein. I say they are separate issues and people can hold more than one interest at a time.

Also for the people who keep insisting Jackson's estate suing HBO is on a technicality, ALL legal cases are on technicalities, and in defamation, you sue the publisher (the entity spreading the info) not just any rando who has bad opinions about you. It is why chuckefuck politicians sue Twitter, 4chan and so on.
