'Jasper is causing a lot of trouble today. Kat was saying that when she was trying to do stuff, he was just constantly bothering her and getting up in everything; she was trying to cook - he was in the food, you know. He has been like this recently - he's been up and acting out(??). She had to keep spraying him with the water bottle to get him to go away.'
I wonder if they've tried cat grass. The irony of Phil's cat situation is that he has the entire world's knowledge on raising cats at the tips of his fingers, but he can't be bothered.

Sounds like Ja$per is being totally ignored at every corner, and the only time he's able to get attention is when pig or horse is occupied in a single location. And, rubbing up against legs only results in a kick to brush said 2kCat away. Snuggle the cat a little bit, and put him on the cat tree/khando/whatever it is you have for the little mongrel to play on. He'll thank you by not "bothering" you when you're pushing buttons on the microwave.

Two things:

1. Cats do not understand operant conditioning. They do not respond to negative reinforcement. That is not how their brains work.

2. I am going to burn down DSP's house with both of them (the humans) inside.

Phil will smell the smoke even while sleeping and heroically lead his loves the PS4 Pro and his iPhone Kat and Jasper outside to safety

I actually think it's probably only Pig that's getting pissed at Jasper, because Pig loves to try and exaggerate or pretend others agree with his "right" and "intelligent" ideas. I get the feeling Kat just gets on occasion annoyed with Jasper if he does something out of boredom and Pig hypes it because he fears and hates cats and didn't want him anyway, but bought Jasper anyway as a half-assed attempt to keep Kat with him.

Jasper causing trouble, bothering Kat, gets sprayed with water bottle.mp4

So now they're both structurally spraying him wit a water bottle. Yeah... that sounds like completely healthy relationship between a pet and its owners... They're gambling on Jasper actually understanding the link between him doing something wrong and him getting sprayed, while they're taking a huge gamble of him not understanding it, which mostly results in a cat getting vicious/distrustful/easily frightened (and therefore maybe lashing/biting as a defense) etc.

Some stuff I found online that talk about spraying/disciplining a cat:

:stress:
Generally what I've seen happen is that after like 2 months the cat becomes acclimated to you spraying it with water and stops reacting to being sprayed. They will just continue to do whatever they want while you spray them and give you a look like 'Yeah, I get it. You're an asshole.' From Phil's description of Kathy having to 'keep spraying him to get him to go away' they are already very close to that point.

I think Kathy is a very low information cat owner. She seems to have no idea how to encourage or discourage a cat's behavior and doesn't seem to understand a cat's natural behavior instincts. I get the feeling she thinks of a cat as a walking teddy-bear. It's strange because she's claimed to have owned "many" cats in her life. An indoor cat can easily live to 10 years, Kathy is 29. Just how many cats has Kathy abandoned in her life?

So if Jasper Kitty was unceremoniously banished to the Chaos Realm for disturbing the peace and sanctity of the Burnell household, would Phil remove all of the pre-stream fan art that features Jasper's likeness?

why would he? Those are business jasper pictures. But it would be kinda funny for him to slowly never mention jasper again

Tism theory: maybe we’re not seeing jasper/dsp’s move to him being private cat is because kat really did get fired. Thus the chaos realm expanding and engulfing jasper.

The more he talks about their abuse of animals the more chance there is that someone will assault the snort fort on a rescue mission. That poor cat is either saved at some point or ends up being a banned detractor meme and is MIA for good. Unless he can see a monetary gain I don't know if he will inform the stream of Jasper being given away or getting out of the house.

I'll just leave this here:

The Seattle Animal Shelter enforces both SMC 9.25.081 and RCW 16.52.205 which make it illegal to abuse or neglect an animal. If you feel that an animal is being neglected or abused, please contact the Seattle Animal Shelter at (206) 386-7387.

I actually support this, especially if Pig mentions even more neglect on accident as he complains to his cult of tards about owning one of the easier animals to have as a pet.

I don't see any reason to contact animal services yet. I do feel like they aren't giving Jasper enough water if he is constantly seeking it in bamboos and phil's mio bottles. Also locking him in a bedroom at night is dumb but not exactly abuse just mean.

Yeah guys, this is a bit ridiculous. Spraying the car with water isn’t abuse (it’s a really lowbrow and disgusting thing to do but it’s not abuse).

The fact that Phil specifically chose a cat that was declawed should telL you all about his mentality: he cares more about his furniture than he ever will about this poor animal.

That alone is a fucked up reason to get an animal.

Even more telling is that he got a cat barely one year into his relationship to satiate his horse’s demands for amusement.

I actually support this,
Seems like you really care about Jasper, then go do it.

Here is an organization that works in Washington State:

They claim to not have legal authority to intervene, but can provide resources and support, and from what I can see they also shelter abused animals.

I took this screenshot from their webpage, that I think is key:
First, you do not need certainty of abuse, just suspicion of it. Of course it must be based on fairly reasonable grounds, you can't just false report however you like, but in this case it wouldn't be that because you seem convinced of it, and according to this thread there might be hints of abuse.
Second, and what is built from the previous point, if you suspect it, you should report it anyway. The officer will determine if it's not, and may even educate the potential abuser.

Because remember, it's all about preventing.

I gotta say, the water thing is enough evidence to me. I've never had a cat ever seek water outside of their fountain. Except for a Maine Coon or 2 but those fuckers love water. Hell I used to regularly go out of town on business for 3-4 nights a week and my cat was still in better care than these 2 monsters.
I really really hate abuse against things that have no way of escaping it. To live your whole short life in hell is just... just the worst thing to do to something.

Should report him on twitch too if you think it’s abuse. They might get trigger happy seeing as someone just got banned for playing with their dog
BAHAHAHAHA no.

Twitch are scam artists too who refuse to follow their own ToS unless they might have a liability claim or some other suit on hand. They literally are a scumbag company that doesn't give a shit so long as their scumbag users can just barely conceal their scumbag nature. Be it Pig or be it a Thot.

And I do care for Jasper, but thing is beyond Pig needing to make sure he has more water in the room they lock him in when they sleep, he's not really abusing him. He clearly doesn't like and actually hates and fears him, but he's not full on abusing him yet. The water bottle thing is shit and he's overusing it and pissing him off, but it's commonly seen as a disciplinary measure so it won't fly in a legal argument.

When Pig complains about Jasper and reveals he hasn't gotten him food due to prices and is feeding him schwans or when he refuses to clean the litter or get shots is when you call.

Though I am reminded of one thing: does his HOA allow pets? Because condos sometimes don't.
