They don't have much nutritional value either, it's like the human equivalent of a chocolate bar as a snack, you can't have something like that multiple times throughout the day and/or week and expect to be healthy.

The recent pictures we got from Jasphur kitty(Get down from there!) are hilarious because it shows how much he hates Phil. I have a khet (not a fhet khet just a regular cat) and when your cat likes you she reacts completely different to attempts of touching it, for example if your cat likes you the moment you extend your hand and go for it's head it will jump towards your hand so her head meets your hand faster , it's a way of saying "please pet me" (she doesn't move away and attempts to bite your hand kek), also if you call you kitty name and place your hand near the ground she moves towards it and rubs her head against your hand because it expects to be petted, also if you are not paying attention to the khet it licks any part of your body that is available (be it hand,leg or your side body if it's in bed with you) because it wants to give you affection, the fhet khet also allows you to pick it up without resistance and in fact purrs when you do it instead of having to use a retarded box to carry it lmao.

All of these things happen because the cat expects affection from you, Phil is a egotistical autistic narcissist so it's very likely he ignores Jasper unless he is mistreating him in some way because there is no way a cat hates you that much unless you've done something to it, Jasput Kitty probably hates Phil not only for off camera neglect and abuse but also for locking Jasper in his room every single night, that's a form of abuse because if the cat wants to leave or go to the bathroom it can't do it until you get up and open the door and Phil does it because he needs to feel like his pet doesn't fucking hate him (and likely because narcissists get off having control over people and animals,so he feels powerful when locking Jasper inside of the room with him). Let's also not forget that this piece of shit declawed Jasper , he talked about how when they got Jasper he was scratching the furniture (something a declawed cat can't do), his story of no one wanting him because he is declawed makes no sense and he told the people at the shelter to delete all files on Jasper because his trolls are insane(so no one has any info about Jasper).

To be fair.... Cats are all weird. Like, I know what you mean when you say that your khet will do the "oh yes, scritches are coming!" lunge. I've had cats that do that. And I've had cats that just kind of look at you with an almost credulous stare, but as soon as there's some scratches behind the ear, it's all over. The lop-eared varmint I have right now kinda does a bit of everything. If I catch her loafing around, and I go to pet her, she will first fire off a warning bite, notice it's me, put a paw around my hand, do the whole cheek rub thing on my fingers, give them a lick, and then show tummy. All the while purring because she knows she's about to get rubs.

Cats all have strange personalities. Similar behaviors, usually, but they're all different.

That said.... I seriously wonder what things Ja$per has pissed on. With how loud and obnoxious as Dave is, and how he shoo's Ja$per away like that, I would imagine that he (cat) would be the kind to hold the grudge and just piss on stuff. Imagine the nook being just full of hidden piss pockets that only get drudged up when one of them squeezes in there to move something....

This one gal I was with wasn't exactly a cat person, but she appeared to make every effort to be sweet to my then two cats. Big kitty didn't give a shit. He was of the mind of "do you have 2 hands that can pet me? OK, you're my friend." Little kitty, on the other hand, was not so kind. I never saw the lady friend do or say anything cross to little kitty, gave treats, seemingly appeared to be ok with things.... But, she (little kitty) would piss on her side of the bed right by her pillow. I assume some shit would go down when I was not home, but I could never see any reason for that to happen. For Dave? I can only imagine the amount of things that Ja$per has soiled just out of spite.

Phil is just retarded and probably one of the worst cat/pet owners that I have ever seen. 1) He probably doesn't clean out Jasper's litter box regularly. 2) He had not cleaned Jasper's water bowl/dish long enough for mold to start growing in it, and 3) He locks Jasper in the bedroom at night and the poor cat probably wants to get up and leave like at 2 AM but he can't since he's locked in the room. 4) Jasper had a UTI last year. We can't prove he got it from Phil's negligence as a pet owner, but it wasn't a good look on him since he waited a day or two to take Jasper to the vet for it. Jasper was only declawed on his front paws, so he still has his back and he uses them to rough up Dave from time to time probably to remind him of how much he hates him for having his front paws declawed to begin with.

I did notice that.

Anytime Phil shows "affection" to Jasper, Jasper is off screen. But when Jasper's on camera and Phil pets him, Jasper goes ape shit and tries to bite him. Jasper's behavior implies that he either never cares for it, or (heaven forbid) hurt it in some way.

The UTI seemed like a thing Phil made up on the spot to bait pity donos. He got a lot of backlash for not going to the vet immediately but instead put it off until his day ahf so the day after the "Jasper has an UTI send tips" stream Jasper made a miraculous recovery (no doubt due to the healing Seattle air) and the UTI was immediately memoryholed.

Being honest about cats, if the cat jumps up next to you and wants you to pet it, it doesn't hate you. I don't think Jasper loves Phil either or (more importantly, I think the cat knows Phil doesn't like him), but the biting was more Phil being clueless about how to approach a cat. If the cat is cornered and thinks you're going to grab it, it's not weird for it to at least nip at you. Phil, like everything else, doesn't approach Jasper the way right way.

Cats are such bizarre creatures. Some cats will take scritches from their human at any time. Others only want to be petted on their own time. Others may not like getting scritches at all, but are otherwise happy.

My little mongrel definitely falls in the second type. She loves to hang out, sit on the back of my work chair, lay by my feet, follows me around, but will give a warning chomp if I blatantly trouble trouble., sometimes I can catch her on the couch and pet her and she goes neurotic and licks her front paws a couple times. But, at night? She's all over me like a hobo on a ham sandwich, insatiable.

Refusing bloodwork isn't animal abuse, even if the owner wastes money on something else. Phil IS taking Jasper to the vet for regular checkups (his words not mine) that's more than reasonable.
If he allowed the conditions for Jasper's urinary infection (house is a dump) then you'd have an argument.
Say he did get the bloodwork and Jasper needed a surgery or special treatment. Phil asks for money and everyone dumps on him for abusing his cat (logic being that's the reason for the surgery) and begging for money. Now he's taking more shit for doing the "right" thing and Steve makes a 12 hour video on the psychology of owning a cat.
Back to the original point Jasper is fine, sure Phil could do more but he'd spend more money and beg for it later.
