I do wonder if/when he'll acknowledge his role in faking mald's hype trains, and thereby subsequently mald's streams. I think it's 50/50 cause i dont really know enough to judge whether he'll take accountability in the end but, and if you are reading this khronos, my advice would be to come clean publicly about the hype train fraud you and mald pulled. I wasted my money at Full Sail for a Game Design Bachelors degree. They didnt teach puzzles or nothing. Funny enough to finish the puzzle I did the same as you I had asesprite up and did some skitzo sketches lol then recreated them. Maby thats just the defacto way.

I think it was the Croteam guys while making The Talos Principle, they said and showed that they built the puzzles with legos to get a feel of what they wanted before making them in-game. I wouldn't be surprised if drawing it out in paint or something is fairly common. Personal experience with making simpler puzzles was to just sort of wing it and refine what I had over time and playtesting. It'd be hard to do worse than Mald's "puzzles" as long as you avoid creating softlocks.
