Any news of any sort of police mobilization or even volunteers doing neighborhood watches around all those shrines that are getting burned? Any suspects caught yet?
Now one can add "burning shrines and temples" to that ever-growing list of why Reiwa sucks.

Today Japan, tomorrow little Indian.

Cross post from EV Hate thread about Chinese EV busses in Japan being taken off the road and defaulted on after accidents and scary problems. Probably ⏰.
Japan purchased 190 Chinese EV buses for an event in Osaka, and intended to use them in transit routes afterwards, but decided to stop using them due to numerous issues with them:

And yet another country falls for the EV bus grift.

It's genuinely fucking demoralizing how little the weird recent spike in global historic buildings being destroyed in arson cases gets actually talked about in any sort of news with the culprits just never getting caught conveniently

The constant current year eternal talking points loop shit spreading to other countries and the fucking simultaneous "let's mass import indians for cheap labor" thing in all the places both these things are happening in really makes me feel like a fuckign schizo nooticing shit. There's big money in whatever the fuck is happening right now globally this last decade.'

Japan fuckin sucks. Only the tourist areas treated me nicely.
TOURIST? ARE YOU TOURIST? CASH? DO YOU HAVE CASH?

Because of all the foreign "influencers" raising a ruckus, the excess tourism and resulting "tourist fatigue", and the recent problems being caused by migrants, the attitude of the average Japanese towards foreigners may worsen. Especially with the recent surge in anti-immigration views, and in Kyoto where there's been many more tourists lately.

Sucks. It is on the bucket list for me to visit there, but now? When I have the money everything goes to hell. God does love his little jokes

Does Japan treat white people better ? ( it's a genuine question)
marginally yes but basically it's not a place any westerner should aspire to live.

I don't really get the "tourist hysteria" shit either. Seems like it's mostly coming from twitter personas and redditors and I frankly don't trust either of those demographics, especially in relation to Japan where they'll treat any perceived slight as an attack on The Collective and basically chimp out. Their whole internet-sphere is basically all the worst aspects of 4cucks amplified to mainstream degrees. Oh no, Davido-kun reclined his seat on the train that has reclining seats, the east has truly fallen(and then this behavior leads to 1000 Jonny Somali's heading over there to exploit it for free clicks).

Oh the irony of canceling 2020 Olympics thus tanking their already-iffy yen value into its perpetual oblivion.

Saw a tweet of a Japanese dude showing a video of an old sake factory up in flames too a few days ago. He speculated it's muslims and I'm inclined to agree.

I call bullshit.

Who hates Japan more than anyone else?

China.

I bet it's chinese doing this. Maybe with the help of South Koreans (because many there also hate Japan).

China also hates mudslimes so hurting Japan and making mudslimes responsible is killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Just showed up in my recommended

The 19th Nihonbashi Street Festa 2026, the largest cosplay event in Japan, was held on May 17th in the Nihonbashi shopping district area (Naniwa Ward, Osaka City). A parade was also held with maids from Nihonbashi's Maid Cafe and the cast from Kon Cafe.

Love Japanese parades
To be fair the Chinese are racist against everybody (especially blacks)

"2020" Olympics were a Clown World circus act. Not as much as the following ones, but still one. Held in 2021, during the coof. "Identity politics" about how female athletes had to dress versus how male athletes had to dress, representative of Japan was a black "Black" woman who did not really grow up in Japan (IIRC) and was chosen for "DEI" ...

Greater point was that they held the tourism gates the longest, still got plenty of coof, but their quite-tourist-based economy took a taco bell dump. Olympics would've been a massive economy boost that may have prolonged their currency's value a little longer. Of course on the other hand, the yen crash allowed weebs to wholesale all the figures and gundams they would've held out on getting, but clearly that pales in comparison to physical tourism.

You underestimate the hatred China has for Japan. Making it just about racism is downplaying it and it can't be compared to how China is treating blacks. The chinese think blacks are dumb animals that can't be taken seriously. Japan however is their enemy. Big difference.

I'm more inclined to believe a Japanese did that and blamed the muslims for that afteward. Muslims are trash but not stupid to the point to shoot themselve in the foots when they are already under a lot of scrutiny.
