University of Tokyo's may festival cancelled due to bomb threats being called because Sohei Kamiya, leader of the right wing sanseito party would be holding a lecture in one of the halls.

Suspicious people, presumed to be communist protestors unrelated to the university, are blocking hallways and evacuation routes.

demonstration of 20 people is able to shut down a very large non-political community event at the largest university in the country.

At the "May Festival" school festival that began on the 16th at the University of Tokyo's Hongo and Yayoi campuses, a bomb threat was sent to the organizers of a lecture by Sohei Kamiya, leader of the Sansei Party, leading the May Festival Standing Committee to cancel the event. Other May Festival activities were also affected.

This year's May Festival is held from the 16th to the 17th. Mr. Kamiya's lecture was organized by the conservative student circle "Ugo no Shu" and was scheduled to begin at noon on the 16th in Room 25 of the Law and Letters Building 1 on the Hongo Campus, with Mr. Kamiya, fellow party member and House of Councillors member Sayaka Shioiri, and Ugo no Shu representative Tai Yamada scheduled to take the stage.

According to those involved, an email containing a bomb threat reached Ugo no Shu on the morning of the same day. They abandoned plans to start registration at 11:30 AM and responded by searching for suspicious objects. Due in part to Mr. Kamiya's schedule, the cancellation was finalized shortly after 1:00 PM. From around 2:00 PM, entry to other events was also suspended "for safety confirmation."

Mr. Yamada said, "It is frustrating and unforgivable to be forced into cancellation by such a 'despicable act'."

Mr. Kamiya posted on X (formerly Twitter): "It seems the audience was prevented from entering the venue for today's lecture, so it has been cancelled. I was on standby, but it couldn't be helped. I will work on alternative plans going forward. The Sansei Party will not stop."

Meanwhile, in front of the main gate of the University of Tokyo, starting around 11:00 AM that day, about 20 people held a standing protest criticizing Mr. Kamiya's past remarks as discriminatory.

Are those radicals home-grown, or are they funded by the usual suspects in either 🇨🇳, 🇮🇱, or both?

And so the world continues to get shittier because of that damn manifesto Marx just had to publish in the 19th century... whether he intended to make the world worse or not.
I really wouldn't blame Marx in this case. The japs will latch onto whatever the politics du jour happen to be and martyr themselves for the cause. The Emperor, the Shinsengumi, Marx, Moonies, Aum Shinrikyo, etc

This stinks to High Heaven of foreign support, especially the 'anti-racism' rhetoric that has no basis in Japan whatsoever. The only people who rely on the tactics and rhetoric you see here are funded by activist groups from the West, and they're full of people who resent or outright hate Japan for being so resistant to their attempts at cultural engineering. If it's the Chinese, they're working through those groups.

Why the Israelis would fuck with Japan like this is beyond me, since it wouldn't help them in the slightest.

This is incorrect and pretty stupid.

So in other words, either way it really is communism (but not Real Communism™ as that's "never been tried yet")?

It would be nice if these fucking JAPS didn't scrap their old Type 64s service rifles.

When your country faces demographic collapse because old people don't want to change your shitty work culture.

tl;dw: Rising costs of living now, living in the country means economically cut off, taking time off for family is looked down on, the woman usually loses career if she has kids, way too much overwork, marriages are delayed, and there's more retired people than before.

That's the same story in every "Western 1st World Democracy". Really makes you think if things are so suffocating in those places the people attracted to them have to be the dumbest most nigger cattle of all people: Indians, Niggers, and Arabs. Which is exactly what we see. It's worth pointing out that the migration is not self directed by the people migrating and is a concerted effort by these "Democracies" to increase their internal populations of mudskinned retards with no economic value other than being slaves.

So you know how "Zoomer" and "Generation Alpha" kids suck more at reading? In the age of "TikTok", this is not just an American thing.

the shrine arson shit is fake news. shrines burn down all the time. a majority of shrines are hastily constructed unmaintained wooden structures in the middle of nowhere. even famous ones aren't really built to last without renovation every decade or so. unless it's a UNESCO site, it's not a big deal compared to something more actively used like a church or temple.

there is no evidence of any serial arsonist at work.

Complete GPT slop. Japan's TFR is the highest among the east asian countries (1.1 vs china's 1.0 and korea's 0.8) and the rate of fall is slowing. Depopulation is a problem, but the narrative that the country is doomed is pushed by mass immigration demons and not close to reality. western analysis of japan's fertility crisis is extremely off the mark. everything they think japan is (culturally, economically), korea and china are experiencing much worse.

western offered "solutions" to the demographic crisis are retarded. all they can say is "bring in more immigrants" and "educate women more" and "pay people to have kids", all of which only accelerate the problem. Aside from some very slow effort on Japan's part, The chinese are actually the only ones who are doing something about their crisis by at least correctly diagnosing the cause, even if their solutions are heavy handed (discouraging young women from high intensity careers, mass population tracking to balance gender ratios in cities) and work against economics.
