On the topic of Jackass, what's your guys' favourite disgusting scene? Mine's either the one where they put Steve-O in a porta potty and swung it around with a crane or the one where they used a straw to suck a fart out of the fat guy's ass.

There was a bit in Jackass 3D where there's a model train set. It looks mostly normal, with the train weaving around hills and trees. Among those hills however is an ass, painted green and poking through a hole in the set. I don't remember whose ass it was, but the ass proceeds to launch the most explosive shit ever all over the model set. Then the movie plays that scene again in agonizing slow motion.

It's one of those things that I just could not believe was allowed in a mainstream movie. Maybe it wasn't surprising to anyone else since it was the third movie, but 3D was the first one I saw after watching the show and it put into focus how much the movies could get away with that the show never could.

I think it was in the first movie, it was Steve-O and a couple other guys. They sat in a group and gave each other papercuts between their fingers and toes with manilla envelopes.

He was given many chances to go into rehab and clean up his act, hell, even Steve-O cleaned up his act. But he keeps fucking up and has livestreamed himself badmouthing them. At this point, he's a complete lolcow, he has his own thread.

I know that, I'm just saying he's a jackass (heh) that could dish it out but never take it and sucked all the fun out of a shoot when he threw a tantrum about not wanting to do something.

As many of you may be aware, Jackass was the brainchild of former and current (at the time of creation) staff and editors of a retarded magazine called Big Brother Skateboarding Magazine. The magazine is long defunct but the spirit of Jackass came from this magazine and the “skate videos” they released. Think episodes with Jackass but it’s 50% skateboarding. I bring it up because this is where the poocano was originally conceived. In fact many season one skits were copied straight from the videos including Knoxville’s self defense video that included shooting himself in the chest with a gun while wearing a vest. MTV passed on that particular clip:

These videos are the prequel to everything Jackass became, even down to the font used to announce the name of each sketch. There’s a good documentary on the magazine on Hulu that features the whole Jackass crew:

Well, tough shit, Bam, I just got back from seeing it. Almost full theater, too. We had an absolute blast. The most fun I've had in a movie theater in a long while. No spoilers, but the opening skit was a highlight.
