I went to see this in theaters, the most amusing thing wasn't even apart of the film itself
It was some 80 year old who randomly came into the theater halfway into the movie (my theater is not even a two minute walk from a Retirement Home), sat in the same row as my best friend and I, and the dude was still sitting there even after the credits were done.
Aside from my best friend, myself, and that old fuck, there was two other people and it was in the smallest venue our theater had, like 6 rows. I'm not surprised it bombed hard.
Film itself was boring aside from the fact Knoxville still did the stunts himself.

Jackass 4.5 came out. It's pretty decent. They do the one thing 4 did not do and properly introduced the new cast. Most of which were found on Youtube but the chick (Rachel) was found on Instagram and is a stand up. The one joke of hers they played bombed with the audience. So, I believe either Knoxville or the producers or someone just wanted to hook up with her. I'm sure you can find a chick who is reasonably attractive who does extreme sports or pranks who would fit in better. The only new buys that fit in are Poopies and the new fat guy. If there's a Jackass 5 with these new guys and Knoxville ends up being just a host then I wouldn't watch it.
Best prank is the Elephant Gun prank where the director gets shot.
Oh right, there's another new cast member. It's a black guy with dreads named Markie from Action Point. He is barely in 4 or 4.5.
One of the best pranks is at the end with the black guy's hoodrat dad.

It's pretty chill. Easy to sit back and watch, and nice to see Spike Jonze a bit with some of the commentary they provide. Given its a .5 it is b roll and behind the scenes/background of getting forever made.
Just go in with the expectation that it's DVD filler material and you will be fine
Eric Andre is fairly prominent, to the point you would consider him more of a new member than most of the newbies.
Poopies might as well be an original member.
