Like I said bro, no one is telling you to like it. Heck I'm one of TADC's most ardent defenders and even I'll admit it has flaws. But it didn't descend into full blown troon nonsense until the finale. Up until that point it was a genuinely good premise with charming characters.

And even -I- could enjoy it for what it was because I am a genuine lover of animation. It was well done. The concept was interesting. The characters acted in a sensible and intriguing way within the premise. I'll give credit where it's due.

I have no real strong feelings of this show good or bad, it's just pretty meh. I watched the first couple episodes out of curiosity after the internet exploded over that kinger thing but got bored. It just seems like one of those things were it's more fun to watch others theorize about it than watch it yourself. Some parts are good, some bad. The background gag of models sometimes getting stuck on terrain is lol randomin an unfunny way and I remember thinking it was poorly handled how the kinger character infodumped a bunch of hints about having a wife then revealed it in the same episode instead of letting the reveal build naturally. The bit about him glowing when holding his breath and that later being utilized was a actually handled pretty well however. Jax says it so naturally when listing off what happens when the others hold their breath. It really does just sound like an aside and then it's used later in a way that's unexpected but makes complete sense.

I'm really suprised by the lack of actual controversy to come out of this show especially for Gooseworx. Most of the drama has just been trivial things blown out of proportion

The same can be said for the thread. granted with how popular the show is it is par for the course for the creator to get their own thread but a lot of the resulting thread is just people tripping over themselves to find any sort of controversy because the individual is trans. Vivziepop atleast has actual drama.

If only adults watched this show I wouldn’t care, I’d find it funny that Goose can’t keep it in his pants and is so confident in admitting that he’s into vore, but I wouldn’t be mad since I don’t really see vore as “evil”. All in all it’d just be silly lolcow behavior, but the fact that kids watch this show does make it weird. And I get that Goose never wanted kids to watch his show, which is fair, but they do and yknow I feel like he could be doing more to make sure they don’t. Realistically you can’t really decide that, I mean idk if I have autism, it’s suspected. But I know my parents tried to grow me up in feminine Christian-adjacent autistic interests and it just made my childhood suck cause it’s just not what I liked. I can literally talk to PhDs about theory despite never taking a music course ever and had a guy asking me about circle of fifths and how to use it in a progression.

Basically my parents tried to raise me as a daughter and my sister as a son if you want to talk about forced feminine adjacent interests.
