Because many of the other countries where he'd be able to live like a king economically wouldn't allow him to do the bullshit he does. Even if he goes to Japan or Denmark or some Euro-zone country, the moment he starts shit-talking the country/specific institutions within that country, they will crack down on him harder than the US ever would. Because 1) it's a complete fucking larp and he's in it for the money, power, and connections like literally every commie and 2) if he lives in a real shithole without the luxury of the US rule of law that protects/enables his behavior and lifestyle he could be put to the wall at any random minute.

Its so crazy he's gaslighting his fans like this.
He carried so much water for Platner, he was probably the politician he supported the most ever outside of Zohran.
He covered his every step, every commercial while praising him, did reactions to his interviews talking about how great he is, he defended him during every controversy.
Even the totenkopf thing he had massive crash out on his own fans who were way more wary of Platner - his fans disliked him for being former Blackwater mercenary, abuse allegations etc and Hasan spend multiple streams lashing out at his own fans for not liking Platner.
Go watch VODs from 21 and 22 october 2025, he straight up spends 3 hours in both of them yelling at his chat nonstop for wanting to do normal leftist reaction of cancelling a guy over nazi tattoo and Hasan is just justifying it, I remember it being so bad that some Hasan fans on reddit/twitter wanted him to start going to therapy or take mental health break over how psychotic he seemed in his lashing out at chat. Being anti-Platner was probably the most anti-Hasan position his chat has had since it appealed to both "normie" dems and people further left and he was trying so hard to convince them to like this guy.

But I guess since he never uttered the hyper specific phrase "I endorse Graham Platner" he was always on fence about him.

Even now after this news dropped he just can't bring himself to say "I fucked up, I judged his character wrong, sorry" he has to gaslight his entire fanbase that listened to tens of hours of Hasan glazing Platner that none of this actually happened because admitting he was wrong is too much for his ego to bear. Dont believe your ears, dont trust your memory, just listen to whatever bullshit I say right now.
