It's because he knows that his opposition isn't nearly as deranged as his side. Plus, there's never been any real consequences for his side when they keep propping up murderers. They had the Healthcare CEO killer, Kirk's killer, and like 4 or more attempted assassinations on Trump at this point. After all of this, there still hasn't been a crackdown on lefties in any way. Hell, the majority of the people who've been doing this stuff haven't even died, they're alive and going through court proceedings.
