Believing in the comment would be more justifiable if the commenter talked about how people from there go in and out of China and have family in there or something but they didn't because that ruins the joke. Hasan can't defend himself for agreeing with it and it shows that he doesn't actually do much thinking when people are telling him things. Anybody could infer this since he has a habit of just repeating what other people are saying on Twitter.
