I was wondering about that. Does he have a pipe in the reremake?

And since it's a Microsoft Studio, the female characters have no actual female features.
This being on Playstation, I'm surprised the legendary ending isnt her living in a long term lesbian relationship after the war.

Vengeful 'Vadam found more evidence of this game having shitty coding/or AI writing the code for the game.

He just ended his stream, but it looks like the flood forms that spawn with assault rifles are not coded properly and cant even use their weapon. Also the plasma pistol overcharge oneshots all flood including tank forms.

It hasn't truly released yet till 15 hours from this post. We can gauge better how bad it will do once the standard edition comes out.
>Licence out Halo IP to Essemble
>They make a well recieved spin-off
>Licence out Halo IP again, to Creative Assembly

The fact that the Arbitor in Killer Instinct 2013 is done way better than anything that 343 did with the character goes to show that they will never be outdone in fucking up the franchise.

Honestly happy to have pirated the new Campaign Evolved, it looks like such a lazy unnecessary cashgrab by 343 just to say "Hey we're still in-charge of Halo! Teehee!"
I haven't even touched it yet and it looks like such a dumpster fire, might hate play it with some Halo vets and drink every time something is fucked up.

Is "Muh Lore" a Zoomer/Alpha thing or what? I'm starting to realize that every time there's some stupid as fuck, annoying or downright bad addition to a game/comic/movie there will always be some young faggot crying about how it's okay because of "lore"

The better question is did this bitch or these missions add *anything* to the game? Which it sounds like no.
The problem is lore is being used as an excuse for shitty decisions and not delivering a product on time.

I actually like the books. I acknowledge it is secondary Canon. The games should always come first.

Bungie understood this, and warmed up to it eventually. You stick shit in a book or comic you don't have time for in a game. It's a treat for the mega nerds.

What 343 has done is not that. They use the books as an excuse not to make games. They put stuff that is nessisary to understand certain things in these books. Unless you are constantly keyed in, you are going to miss shit. It's no longer a fun bonus, it's paperback DLC that could have been a level or something.

It's why Fall of Reach was no longer canon the moment Halo Reach came out. The Bungie Era books are really good books, with Ghost of Onyx and Contact Harvest being my two favorites. But the moment you get to the 343 era novels you really start seeing the quality drop off.

The Forerunner trilogy just reads terribly, and it's full of a bunch of metascience bullshit that just doesn't fit with the military sci-fi that was Bungie's Halo.

Fall of reach is still very good. Parts still mesh with bungie canon, but yeah, in general it got mostly decanonized. The thing is they replaced it with a full game. Not what 343 does by just breaking shit like the long sword and making First Srike basically impossible

The forerunner trilogy was an interesting read. On its own in a bubble I find it cool. 343 was never able to make it mesh with Halo. Honestly I don't think they understood what they commissioned Greg Bear to write, nor did they care. The retcon of forerunners not being humans but also being cousins was completely unnecessary. Thanks O'Conner.

Quick question is the Master Chief Collection available on emulation? Is there a version anywhere that I can play without having an MS account? I bought it on sale a couple of years ago and immediately returned it 'cause I'm not gonna sign up for that shit just to play a game.
So this is going to sound like a retarded question, but like do you have a Windows PC at all? Or have you ever had an Xbox? if so you have a microsoft account.

Either way apparently someone made repacks of Halo 1 and 2 for PC. I don't know about Halo 3, Reach, or ODST; you may actually need MCC to play those.

Project Cartographer also adds a lot of fixes for Halo 2 on PC for modern hardware.

I tested the Halo 1 download and it works.

Ngl, I liked the book way more than the campaign for Halo: Reach. I came into the game expecting a battle second only to Earth, but felt very lackluster compared to the novel.

The book really makes you love the Spartans, which I get was the point but still. Watching Chief grow up and start becoming the badass we know him as was peak content, and it was enjoyable seeing humanity flounder against the Covenant.

I'm on a Windows PC but don't have a personal ms account, I've skirted by until now without one. I've never personally owned an Xbox either. Thanks for the links I'll check those out and do some more research.

Break free from microjeet.

I think the sad thing here is that to a casual normy. The campaigns for 4-5 and infinite were decent. I totally got all the complaints about them, but if we leave out the multiplayer, enough was done with master chief and the plot that I didn't think it was the end of the world. I figured hey, they'll eventually iron this shit out....

Yeah that's a solid fucking no. The fuck ups have gotten so bad its actually started effecting the quality of the games and the storyline standalone . It literally sucks ass in a vacuum. They cant paper this shit over with colorful design choices anymore when the buildings foundations are falling apart.

343 must die or the franchise dies with it. And frankly that might not be such a bad thing. Cut it all off at halo 4 and keep on trucking.

I hated this thing so fucking much. I was pissed off when Chief didn't just delete her.

Part of me liked Infinite but I'm starting to think that I just thought that the grappling hook was cool. I gave up after about 10 minutes of Halo 5 so I really had no fucking idea what was going on.
Halo infinite is sporadically interesting and that's the best I can ever say about it. There are moments that are genuinely fun like grappling around or times where you can load up a warthog with marines full of sentinel lasers. Beyond that, the plot is nonsensical, the pilot sidekick is whiny, the weapon le quirk wholesome reddit chungus, boss fights are gay, and of course it shares zero continuity with the previous game (or next if they ever survive that long).

Última edición:
Jesus, this is fucking embarrassing. Chief just standing there with his dick in his hand while the Prophet introduces the Covenant like they're the Ginyu Force or something.
This genuinely is shit anime episodes do to pad run time. They must really wanna make sure you can't finish the campaign within the refund window since there's no multiplayer to fall back on.

In my experience, 'muh lore' is mostly used by retarded fanboys to excuse shit game design.

The example that always stands out to me is Darksiders III, where people were defending Fury getting her laundry folded by starter enemies in the game (even once you're powered up) because 'she's the weakest of the Four Horsemen' ignoring the fact she's still a horseman of the fucking apocalypse.
