Where are you guys finding this cut content stuff? I'll always remember reading Abt the amount of stuff cut from SA and IV and wanting to cry. With V at least it got put Online. Sadly... .
Those cut jingles were on The Cutting Room Floor back in the day

IIRC there was a beta build that got leaked to the internet at some point.

III was the best for that bc it felt like LC was in its own little world with these songs. When VC came out of course they had to use real music but at least it fit the game. SA on it's like a crapshoot either a station is good or it's dogshit. I wish they'd just make their own stuff again, it'd prolly be cheaper then liscneing music
Once GTA 3 was a success, they doubled down on big licensed tracks, and it worked out for the labels and artists too since it gained them an audience with a newer generation. GTA 3 had a good mix of unknown/underground artists that kept the feel of the og games, but I don't think Vice City or the future games would have had the same impact if it used mostly unknown tracks or original tracks.

It demoralizes me a lot to know that this game will be a commercial success. It really just makes me feel everything can get worse from here for the gaming industry. I don't know if I even want Elder Scrolls 6 to come out at this point.

With modern Bethesda AND modern Microsoft ?

No, you don’t. Nobody that’s a true fan does

Every AAA studio exec is watching this game like a hawk and will ask, “how do we replicate GTAVI success and monetization to our product “. We’ll see more of the terrible trend of multiple editions with the base game starting at $80.
That's already happening as we speak. EA's latest College Football entry not only has a subscription service tied to it, but they added microtransactions into their single player progression. (They later backtracked on that after player feedback, but still.)

Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed IV remaster reportedly includes $85 worth of microtransactions at launch. They're not the first games to do that, but it's telling how brazen modern games are to milk every penny possible.

It's pretty sad just how well they got at boiling the perverbial frog by just bruteforcing their way into it until the people who did complain gave up by buying it anyways because they knew full well it would only be a matter of time until most of the loudest complainers would quickly give in back then.

I have doubts a EA's Battlefront II situation where external fanbases were able to singlehandedly force thier hand into overhauling the game into something that isn't P2W beyond cosmetics in ethier case will happen with any of these example or any future example unless it was tied to an IP that was popular beyond gaming.

Yep. I really wanted to buy College Football 27 on Steam. But the fact that Javelin doesn’t work on Linux and the scummy microtransactions made me say no on the purchase. I know I would get hundreds of hours out of the purchase.

Ubisoft have been doing multiple editions of games for years now. It works for them because gAmErS are willing to spend over a $100 for their latest slop. But it’s going to get much worse with other AAA companies jumping in on the action after GTAVI preorders

while i think she's bae, GTAO is so fucking raped, holy shit.
The casino ones are worse, One challenge requires you to do all the missions with only pistols. Bad Beat with pistols only is just masochism.
it's not hard at all if you go with a high level random, just make sure it's not the same or else he might leave, you also can't restart the mission if you are going for the not-use snack shit, the do shit 100 times is fucking retarded and it shows it's console focused shite.
although i can use two accounts so i have to run the thing twice for each character.

'dit
i just got busted, like "ooh you can't be shooting them cops on with the MOC turrets for too long, get busted", fucking gay shit man.

I started the GTA SA 100% playthrought just yesterday and i done all the Los Santos content pre-missions.
Dealing with hunger is a huge pain in the ass.
Yea id do the Ryder mission immediately sadly bc the R3 missions become a chore bc of the hunger. Bonus you can get max muscle early by using the gym at the beach. Tags are a must unless you like searching the map for weapons and armor (why is use my physical map to mark them)

I always just bought a bunch of the biggest meals at a restaurant and kept CJ’s fat at around 40%, or whatever it is before it has any real effect on him. Might be higher, can’t remember. You barely have to think about it after that except to occasionally fatten him back up again.

Edit: seems 45% fat is where it begins to slow CJ down and affect his jump height

Find a vending machine and hold down the key to eat for a long time while watching something, alternatively just die (lol) and that'll reset the hunger bar (I think)

Max muscle is baller but it does slow you down, not as much as being fat but slower than being thin. If you are going for max muscle, apparently the 20lb dumbbell is the fastest way to do it due to a glitch according to the wiki:

"there is an implementation bug in the game: the muscle gain from the first dumbbell weight (20 lb) does not decrease as CJ's muscle stat increases. This means it always provides the full gain value, making it the fastest reliable method for maximizing muscle."

Also be sure to do the burglary stuff right after the one Ryder mission so you get infinite sprint

yep, i just done that in a 24/7
Hearing the hilarious quotes from NPC's was worth.

I'm wishing to go full fat before LV.

Yeah, last time i didn't that and suffered.

Fat CJ is the funniest option, especially if you put him in that Uncle Phil jumpsuit you can find at some clothes shop
To add to what everyone else said, Do firefighter too, being fireprroof is very helpful in some missions.
That reminds me, this is the best thing to do the second you start the game. If you really want to make things easy, use the money you make from Firefighter and buy the house in the north side of the city, near the park with the pond. Save the game and then drive to the horse betting shop just to the west, it's like a straight shot, and bet all your money on the horse with the shittiest odds of winning. If you win, your money gets multiplied by x12 times or something, if you lose just reload the save and try again. After winning, go save and repeat until you have a gazillion dollars.

III had some bangers. It’s where I discovered Royce Da 5’9 that lead me to some other good Detroit rap and hip hop.

i always go for firefighters and paramedics whenever i start the game, lol.
vigilante is too much of a pain in the ass until you get the hunter and you need to unlock las venturas for that but the body armor bonus pays it off.

about right yeah, i remember watching a jeettube video where the two aussies literally got addicted to horse races because of how much money it made.

Paramedic is best done in one of the small towns above LS at the beginning of the game (I think the actual best location to do it is Angel Pine, but obviously you don't unlock that till later)

For sure, the hunter makes it piss easy, but iirc it only spawns after getting all gold in flight school (which you'll be doing for 100% anyway), but I think one of the helicopter races also puts you in one, and you can just fly it to the hangar garage and save it there. The rhino also spawns at Area 69 after unlocking the desert/LV so that's an alternative. I just picked up tons of SMG ammo around LS and used the cop bike to do vigilante early.

You can get the Rhino earlier. Once you get to San Fierro, you can get all six stars. Jack a tank and store it in your Doherty garage.

I did that after doing everything is LS but the last LS mission where you save sweet. 13 million does a lot in 1992
