For as cynically as Gameoverse markets Kit, at least the inclusion of furry OCs fits a setting based on 90s games. Why make the characters anthropomorphic animals if that isn't going to tie into the setting or characterization in any way? It's just frosting here, and that makes it complete furryslop.

While it looks like its still in litigation and actually began 2 years ago, there's been developments and statements here and there from Glitch and the indie comics artist Modmad, as well as both sides supporters and haters doing their own investigations and claims.

One supporter of Modmad/the webcomic "The Property of Hate" put together this huge evidence nuke that the average legal professional probably couldn't make. I have never seen such a thorough analysis, legal study, character comparison or detailed exposure document like this of literally anything else fandom or person wise. It really does seem like Glitch stole this woman's character named RGB (from 2012) and barely repurposed him to be Mr. Puzzles (from 2023) in SMG4. People point out using other people's shit is just what SMG4's always done, I agree with that.

While they can probably afford to pay lawyers and Modmad if she wins, (Or just make TADC season 2 if they're ever running out of cash dolla) I feel like their reputation will take a nosedive for sure. People still bring up Viv's character thefts and this has way more merit than the Sir Pentious is a Black Hat from Villainous ripoff accusations.

This is pretty crazy in my opinion. I expected this from Viv, not Glitch. I don't feel like documenting all the big and minor meltdowns SMG4 and Mr. Puzzles fans had and are having, but I feel like you'd have to be legitimately schizophrenic with severe enslavement syndrome to read this and walk away going "Ya there's zero possibility that Glitch did it bro."

Have they ever been accused of theft of ideas or characters before aside from people saying TADC took too much from IHNMAIMS and general art theft like with the KOG merch? And did anyone from Glitch say something to the Chimptopia guys over the use of Gobbles? If they did but in turn did this kind of plagiarism, that is crazy shit.
