Modern animation creators are manchildren who, instead of taking inspiration from real life, are obsessed with 2000s cartoon network shows and just want to make that.
if modern animation creators actually took inspiration from 2000s cartoon network shows shit would be a lot less like current year+10 bad live action drama writing and instead more like said 2000s cartoon network shows. Back in the 90s-2000s a lot of shit did stuff specifically to work around censors but without actually talking down to kids.
Like for instance, the fucking hotwheels tv miniseries of all fucking things made to sell toy cars had a thing where they explain the reason a character is different from the first one is because he got all the blame for taking part in drug deal shit that his older and more successful brother roped him into in the first place.
They never explicitly mention the drugs but you can tell they knew kids weren't dumb enough to not know what the "deal" alluded to was. This isn't even the only fucking instance of this in a kid's show.

Just watched the final of Digital Troonjax. The Jax stuff is so gay and bad. The whiny self insert generic back story of troon Jax was so boring and uninteresting.
At least the scenes with Caine weren't that bad.
The ending with king was pretty unrealistic. If this was real life the nigga wouldn't be a present father.
Tranny creator ruined the show by taking it way too seriously. It should've just been wacky adventures with maybe some more serious toned episodes thrown in there but keeping it light hearted and have an open ending after a movie. But maybe the hormones fucked it up since this surely feels like a mentally ill woman wrote it. Guess the creator passed as a woman in some way.
I am still somehow interested on The Gaslight District but at this point I am afraid it will retread the same issues of MD/TADC with a bunch of slice of life shit and "nothing ever happens", maybe GLITCH thinks this is some kind of winning formula by now and the only thing that matters is the eternal teasing of a potential plot just to sell more merch.

Remember when Indie animation before the 2020s was not afraid to take risks and be edgy as possible and felt like something you could not see from any mainstream company? Now it's all generic safe woke shit that is even worse than the modern shit from mainstream companies
