You can get in and atleast get a free Rebecca and alongside the premium currency you get for being new + the red orbs you get between login and doing tasks, in theory you could get Lucy, their Sig weapons are beyond you unless youre super lucky or drop some money on the game.

Jinzhou. And actually, I am okay with Sci-fi Shanghai. I feel kinda nostalgic for 1.x WuWa before fantasy Venice and whatever country Lahai-Roi is meant to be. The 1.X story was a mess but I loved the world design so more Fantasy China is always a plus.

And naturally, I'm pulling the one obligatory dude and his weapon. For a second, I thought it was Qiuyuan's little brother.

Speaking of dudes, Etheria Retard dropped a trailer for one of their new characters for their anniversary. I don't know why it matters, as the lore is nonexistent and there's no new story, so why should anyone even care about this shit, but regardless, it's here.

And normally I don't really give a shit unless they ripoff WuWa, but the AI art in this one is intense as hell and it's fucking funny.



Like it's so blatant it looks super cheap. Now I don't feel any particular way about AI art, but it's amusing how in your face Etheria is and has always been about it.

And unlike NTE, Etheria gets away with it and then some. It was clear when the first big AI waves hit the game that the devs didn't give a fuck and didn't address it, and never changed. So now it's just an accepted part of the ecosystem.

I have the same issue. Kinda want to login just to get the fomo time gated unit but i realize i'll probably not and the reality is that i don't even like wuwa.

Rebecca is free and you can keep rerolling for early Lucy then play enough to get her weapon (should be freebies from progression for that) but rerolling requires a ton of patience and might burn you out.

Considering how wrong they were about nodkrai in all fonts, lets see how badly this one ages.

btw again snow break has announced that it's current update is being extended with no clear date in sight, implying it's on death's door.

Regarding Lucy in Wuwa: played for a bit and shes alright. Mind you i dont have her sig weapon because i just wanted to have her for my account. Gameplay wise shes fine and her ultimate is very flavorful and can allow you to debuff and buff enemies at your choice(unless you get her S2 where you can just pick all and go brrrr). Honestly since you get Rebecca and if you have someone live Verina or generic support, youll have a pretty nice team from the get go.

Tldr: If you want lucy because shes "broken" then no, shes just mid(for me) and you should just skip it. If you want her cause you like cyberpunk/edgerunners then shes definitely a pick. The even gives you 50~ red orbs so if youre lucky you can hit soft pity and bail out if not then youll have to commit premium currency for the conversion.

I do like some of the character design but if I wanted to return to the hellscape of action gacha I'd go with WuWa. If it was a single player game with a combination of action and factory building like Rogue Galaxy (wonder how many grognards here remember that game) then I would have gladly bought it.

Holy shit you just unlocked a memory when you mentioned Rogue Galaxy. I remember that i rent it but i barely got to play it because i was grounded and had to give the game back. I should emulate it.

Some of the stuff i saw often on the genshinleaks subreddit

-Varka would guide us through nodkrai
-Geo lunar sandrone
-White horse adeptus (zibai) will be varka support
-Varka is pyro swirl specialist/locked OR meant to be played with bina
-Durin is pyro escofier / "big bennet"
-Basically anything regarding playable dottore (totally electro) lol
-element guesses before the reveal (flins cryo bow, durin anemo, geo lauma, pyro nefer, etc)
-standard banner lohen

The screenshot i posted was by a leaker named full stop chan who said some of the stuff i listed, so i wonder how much they will get wrong again.

The Sandrone stuff is kinda correct, considering she got a 7 minutes long animated short, and her story quest has been folded into the main patch event, similar to Zibai. So I'd say she's a main-focus character, but everything else is wrong.

To be fair, everyone from main nodkrai quest got their story melded into archon quest or had what was obviously meant to be a limited event be a character quest (lantern rite and lunar event). Verka got an animation too and even two weapon skins exclusive to him, one for his sig.

I don't think Sandrone's push is remotely close to Phainon, cyrene and castorice who received significantly stronger marketing pushes than anyone around them (animations, global passive, spending event, forced gacha cutscene etc). To be fair, no one in genshin is.

But when leakers said "main focus like phainon", you would think Sandrone would drop during the climax of the archon quest, not after it's over as the last character of the version, before the next nation, after hoyo reveals the schneznaya cast.

y'know what? I'm actually kinda hyped for yangyang SP and her sister. Gotta read the kits though. Anyways I bought the s1 for Denia using corals and now I regret that decision :(
 
This is just a pet peeve of mine, but I actually like the Traveler outfit from the Nod-Krai quest and have used it since I got it (I picked Male Traveler and I don't like his default clothes). So why the fuck are there still instances where the Traveler reverts to the default?

I can understand the animated cutscenes but if they use the in-game character model I damn well want it to be with the new clothes. If they wanted to keep the part of the outfit that changes color depending on what element he has, it couldn't have been that hard.

The recent event with Prune also had me scratching my head. Klee had the witch outfit they introduced a few years back for the story sections, but then for her bomb bouncing minigame she'd revert to her default. Why.

Doesnt the game atleast has a fast forward option? Youre telling mr you gotta sit there and press a button fast if you want the scene to.move along faster? That sounds horrible. What if you get like 10 minutes of conversation back to back?
