After pulling Mavuika I went to Ochkanatlan to gather her materials and when I heard this song I had to stop doing anything else just so I could listen.
There are so many songs in genshin, many of which play in very specific scenes or locations and nobody really talks about them, so it always feels nice to discover something new.

Even though I have my gripes with a lot of Genshin's modern story, the game has always had absolute bangers for the soundtrack. I like the battle themes from Natlan. The ones from Enkanomiya as well as the Double Vishap boss theme from that same area are also great.

the battle themes from Natlan

A Dance in Fire is incredible. It sounds like the ancestors telling you to persevere and to suffer. The track "Natlan" sounds like you are facing off against a brotherhood of royal knights in a throne room, should have been a theme that played if you fought all of the Fatui or something.

I feel like the soundtrack is one of those things that is ironically so amazing that it's taken for granted and everyone agrees there is no need to talk about it. Genshin is also funny cause they make SO MANY SONGS that are only used once in one small random places and some you can never hear again.

This song plays in liyue's fatui bank. That one where you meet childe at the start of liyue qust then go back just to see zhongli gives the gnosis away and has no reason to ever come back. I only realized it even has a unique song cause i returned there to get the 200k mora chest.

Enkanomiya's Combat Beneath the Waves is my favorite battle theme by far, second only to Photon of Fluctuation, which was the very first battle theme I heard when I started. Photon of Fluctuation really nails the "starting town small monster" vibe. I always liked the music for the Mondstat domain with the water effect, so No Turning Back became my favorite boss theme also.

It's a shame that besides going to the places where those unique songs play, you can't really listen to them in-game as far as I'm aware.

The teapot does have that gramophone to change the BGM but that's assuming you spend a lot of time there and I think not all of the songs are available to find in the overworld. (When exploring if I see one of the disks I just pick it up and forget about it)

I also would've love to dodge.
I mean, there’s technically a dodge, but I’m pretty sure it’s not an intentional mechanic - turns out when you start running, you have i-frames.

It’s fairly generous with them in my experience - really as long as you aren’t on absurd ping you can “dodge” fairly consistently once you know the timing.

The wuwa Fandom is being weird as fuck because of the collab but regardless I dag down and watch the anime before I did the collab and I'm glad I did. So it hits a lot harder now.

Still piss that David isn't playable though but I digress

Apparently they reworked stelar conduct again in the genshin beta. I think is the third rework

1-Counts hits in 3 second interval, 1 hit = 1 stack and at 10 stacks reach maximum stellar conduct multiplier

This one was pretty braindead i guess, but would let you get away with most stuff.

2-Counts hits in 4second interval but now 3 hit = 1 stack and at 12 stacks you reach max.

This one requires 36 hits in 4 seconds which was pretty crippling and filtered a lot of characters.

3-Same as 2 but now stellar conduct damage gives 1 stack instead of 1/3

Helps manage the struggles with 2 but locks team comps further so you want 2-3 stellar.

4-Hits don't matter, now stacks gained with elemental application (???)

A bizarre change that flips comps again. Anemo burst infusers like venti/kazuha are pretty helpful now and even Lohen might be viable as is charge has no icd. I assume hoyo wants to sell an anemo for this team.

I have no idea what hoyo is smoking with this stellar stuff. I remember dendro and lunar reaction not getting any significant changes but here it's like those ZZZ betas where every week it's a new rework.
