Never hitting the acceptance stage and moving on is pretty pathetic.I'd say more like fondly watching videos of a loved one after they've passed away.

That must have been a slim window, or I was stuck on a school bus when they were showing Stampede. I just watched on Saturdays, TSN would likely have been weeks to months behind anyway.
Pro Wrestling Plus was awesome.
I also loved when they brought NWA onto TSN and showed every match from the Tokyo Dome Starrcade over a few episodes. The Steiner's match was insane shit to see back then.
There was a period around 1990-91 where they had a 1-hour NWA World Championship Wrestling show on Wednesdays, which was why I got to see it, as Wednesdays were early dismissal days for most Calgary high schools.I remember TSN airing Stampede wrestling around 4PM-5:30PM ish in the Eastern time zone so if you were in Mountain it would have likely been during school for you. They aired it from around 1987 to whenever they shut the doors.
I have no recollection of TSN ever showing NWA other than on Pro Wrestling Plus. They later showed WCW Nitro.
that vaguely reminds me of that Raw Rewind show that aired on USA at like, midnight or some shitThere was a period around 1990-91 where they had a 1-hour NWA World Championship Wrestling show on Wednesdays, which was why I got to see it, as Wednesdays were early dismissal days for most Calgary high schools.
I remember when they had Nitro on Tuesdays, and how they kept it at 2 hours when the show expanded to 3 hours, and how randomly they hacked up the show to fit the slot.
Good episode. Glad to see there's no real animosity there and it was just two guys putting on a good show.New Dark side of the Ring, Necro Butcher vs Samoa Joe, uploaded to the Vice YouTube Channel.

I see you have never gone to Denny's at 3:30 am.Only in pro wrestling can you have a Samoan mat technician raised from a tribal dance troupe fight a Appalachian, dope-smoking hillbilly who wrestles on broken glass barefoot. Its as close as you can get to IRL Street Fighter.
wwe heat was on USA Sunday mornings after cartoonsthat vaguely reminds me of that Raw Rewind show that aired on USA at like, midnight or some shit
now I want WWE Heat vs Tranzor Zwwe heat was on USA Sunday mornings after cartoons
one time at/ outside of Denny's we found out those tubes I had in the back of the van could work as digeridoosI see you have never gone to Denny's at 3:30 am.
Cartoons, not anime. Exo-squad, Wing Commander and Mortal Kombat. Basically a toy line with a 20 min commercial with a loose morality message at the end.now I want WWE Heat vs Tranzor Z
A coastal cunt pretending to be bogan trash because her step daddy probably came home drunk one night and made a pass at her. It's depressing. Like she's trying to intentionally ugly up her body with tattoos. They're not anything particularly artistic or meaningful, it's just ugly things like bats and scorpions and a harpy that look like she went into a shop and just pointed at something in the book. It's an insane thing to do to your body just for a bit, especially when her personality is completely at odds with the character she plays. You see her interviews and you can tell she's a preppy cheerleader type girl that's playing theater. Total poser.
Anderson could work back in NJPW, but by the time he came to the fed he was ready for his "retirement check" tour.I think a lot of it has to do with Anderson being the Bullet Clubs mouthpiece for years having bought him Smark Goodwill, and Gallows is his plus 1/drinking buddy.
I like the Good Brothers, but I readily admit their ceiling is "Goons for the Actual Heel". They're bag carriers and everyone knows it, but the guys they carry bags for can get them gigs.
Sword and Guns vs Killer Elite Squad at WrestleKingdom 7(?) was one of the best tag matches I have ever seen, and Lance Archer's entrance was epic.Anderson could work back in NJPW, but by the time he came to the fed he was ready for his "retirement check" tour.
No they couldn't. That gimmick was doomed to kill anyone with it because of conservative backlash and even if Vince went full retard with the gimmick, it would have killed Jack Swagger deader than Chris Harvard, Rob Conway, and Renee Dupree had their careers killed doing an anti war gimmick.Anybody who wasn't a shitter could have had an incredible run with that gimmick. Instead it was wasted on Jake Hager. Dutch carried him hard.
My mates and I have always wanted to do these American gatherings/cons. It's like the African version of going on safari. "Yoh, check it out bru, it's a pod of landwhales." and "Wow, look at the degenerate with a foxtail up his ass. You don't see that at home."It may be my mid-life crisis speaking, but I kinda want to go to The Gathering at least once, just to experience it.
I just rewatch Lucha Underground praying for the day I have enough money to buy it and restart it. Shit was peak.Plenty of people just hate watch it in between watching classic matches from when it was still great. I'll watch the big four just to see how bad things have gotten but I can't stand watching the weekly shows.
WWE in South Africa used to just be one hour of Raw and Smackdown cut together but ETV would show the PPVs in full. Most confusing shit ever as you would miss the build for 95% of the matches and not have any idea who most of the wrestlers were.I remember when they had Nitro on Tuesdays, and how they kept it at 2 hours when the show expanded to 3 hours, and how randomly they hacked up the show to fit the slot.
Malakai left AEW on bad terms. I saw some reports about people in AEW being negative about him potentially coming back. Didn't like his attitude, didn't get along with others, etc.. I think him and Zelina will be on the indies like Kross and Scarlett.I wonder if Malakai Black will be back in AEW or not, they did take Andrade back. Or maybe Malakai will also go to TNA.
IIRC at the same time reports did also say Tony was open to the idea, but yeah. He did burn his bridge on the way outMalakai left AEW on bad terms.
Oh yeah, MCMG & New Day are AEW bound, MCMG could possibly be going back to TNA too.Looking at the others on the list:
MCMG are 100% going to AEW. Same with New Day but they're technically not free agents for another week or so.
No idea what any of the Wyatt Sicks people are going to do, quite frankly don't care.
Zoey Stark maybe goes to TNA. She would do well there.
Kairi is either Stardom, Marigold, or AEW. Could make a case for each one, hard to say where she goes.
Malakai Black couldn't draw money if you gave him a stencil of a dollar bill.So the post-Mania releases are free agents which probably means Uhaa Nation can be on TNA TV now, unless that Slammiversary appearance was a one off.

And he's one of CM punk's boys. Shocker.Malakai left AEW on bad terms. I saw some reports about people in AEW being negative about him potentially coming back. Didn't like his attitude, didn't get along with others, etc..
He also slapped the shit out of smug Sammy backstage, so I imagine that got him points with the entire locker roomAndrade only left AEW because he was married to Charlotte at the time and wanted to be with her, but he was still on good terms with AEW. Which is why he went back so quickly when he was released from WWE.
I don't think it would be too off the mark to say that there's a 50/50 of Kairi landing in AEW, and the more that I'm hearing Bayley talk in interviews the more that I am starting to believe that she is AEW bound as well.IIRC at the same time reports did also say Tony was open to the idea, but yeah. He did burn his bridge on the way out

Zoey I see making the rounds on the indies, that's my shot in the dark prediction.
Kairi does have an in at AEW since she's friends with Mina Shirakawa, they could do a tag team run there.
