And I also cussed out my local town council because they keep approving these without notifying the general community. They're just building them Willy nilly wherever the fuck they want.
And if I try and get basic permits for single family houses, forget it. But you can build a 20,000 square foot warehouse on. Non commercial real estate and fuck up the entire town's road system and cause massive traffic jams now.

My own local city many years ago wouldn't even allow a wallmart to build within city limits without a vote, now it's the same thing here. Warehouses and other large buildings don't even get permitting brought up unless someone raises a stink, even then the complaint is usually ignored.

From the looks of things, this looks globally coordinated. Big companies and landowners resort to produce appartments and warehousing within historical districts and wilderness where construction restrictions were suspiciously lifted, be it in the US or Europe. I have personally seen several buildings built centuries ago in my hometown getting turned into Chink bughive habitations. Yes, it's as awful as it sounds.

i tend to lean toward schizo stuff too, but i really think its just the same reason everything produced by companies are getting shittier, selling the future for short term gain. Theyre pulling a boomer tactic and investing short term to profit off of by passing the bill onto whatever gullible schmuck they sell it to. Problem is, in this economy the schmucks with enough money are harder to come by, so a lot of mfs are just shitting out mass to try and cope with it. In my town (low population) there are 6 fucking storage unit facilities, with the last one being built last year.

Tldr: its shrinkflation and short selling but for real estate, and we have to clean up the mess they made after they inevitably fail.

Pretty much every single warehouse has. For lease. For lease. Now leasing, no one in this area is going to buy luxury. Apartments or condominiums when you can go to the local places that are renting bigger houses for. 1200 rather than 2500. No one gives a fuck that you have these faggoty game rooms. You can get those for free at our local Community Center.
The good thing is, however, is most of these things are just built on a concrete pad. So when we have to tear all of this shit down, it's not going to be that difficult to clean it all up. And we plant trees.
And convert it back to agricultural use.
