its literally a remix of Marth's theme/together we ride, bad or good I dunno yet from this one track, which is a remix of one of the most famous themes from the series.
I think it sounds interesting myself, got a bit of Spanish guitar in there. Raising a fuss about Together We Ride feels a bit nitpicky, might as well whine about the Series Theme while you're at it.

Sacred Stones’ plot is basic, but the twins and Lyon have good character arcs, and its length and simplicity make it a fun, breezy playthrough every couple of years.
SS was my first Fire Emblem game, and one of the story beats that I loved, that I thought IS did a good job integrating in her supports, was Eirika's unpreparedness for leadership. She's clearly in over her head for a good while, and Ephraim was obviously more fit to take the throne, especially in a war.

But my favorite comes from her final support with Seth.

Seth: Lady Eirika. You are a noble of Renais. The nobility should not favor one subject over another. How can they maintain their fealty if you treat one so differently?
Eirika: ......
Seth: You may have to forego such attachments just to defend your country. There will be times when victory in battle demands a sacrifice. If you cannot send your men to die, then you are not fit to rule.

Now, depending when in the game you see that, it can be more or less congruous with Eirika's arc. For example if she has this convo before about midgame, I think it's fantastic. If she and Seth are having it right before the Endgame, that's a bit more insane.

But you see the idea play out, especially with Eirika's relationship with Lyon, where he/The Demon King is able to exploit her affection for Lyon to destroy one of the Sacred Stones, before finally getting Eirika to realize that her friend is gone, and she's got to put him down for the good of her kingdom and the world.

Also, since I'm a sappy bitch, I really loved her and Seth's dynamic, as basically the archetypal lady and knight story.

Seth: …That night… I felt what you felt. When I held you in my arms as we rode into the night… It was the first time since I was knighted that I forgot my duty. I thought of you not as my queen, but rather as someone I wanted to protect from all harm. I wanted to leave everything behind… To take you far away to someplace where we could be together… Those were my thoughts…
Eirika: Seth…
Seth: Please forgive me. I swear to you that I will never again forget my duty in that way. Now, please excuse me. When I see you next, it will be as a Knight of Renais… And I will lay down my life to protect my queen.

I admit I liked the field thing in Engage where directly after a battle you could talk to villagers and other party members before you go back to the menu screen. I'm hoping they build on that feature tbh.

It was a nice touch
However - and I could be completely wrong here - I wish the characters had unique dialogues expressing their views of what just happened instead of sucking off the DIVINE DRAGON SENPIE NOTICE ME PLEASE

hearing that remix of together we ride makes me wish this game has an actual kick ass recruitment theme and not the lame ass shit we have gotten since awakening (besides echoes which was a remake and engage which didn't even have a recruitment theme lmao)

My absolute favorite was Sacred Stones recruitment. I remember when I first heard it I was like “Hell yeah”
Also Three Houses was pretty good as well

FE has always had a waifu-bent to it. Honestly I'm convinced that most of the griping SS had against it was just because a lot of Blazing Blade fans were just Lynfags.
Yeah I buy that. PoR brought the furries in and I remember Jill, Ilyana, and Mia having more waifufags than the entire SS cast put together.

It didn’t get as much direct story exposure because you’re following Eirika for the first half of the game either way but Ephraim trying to reconcile enjoying war and battle with needing to be the king is a well executed plot line. Forde basically says that he earns peoples’ loyalty easily because he’s brave and strong, but he’s kind of an adrenaline junkie. Iirc he also expresses some regrets that he didn’t really show Lyon he respected him enough?

And The Prince’s Despair rules. I might like it a bit more than Everything Into The Dark.

It was basically a watered down version of the system used in Valentia.

I agree, I just think the problem with Ephraim's route is it feels like it just awkwardly derails the plot, even though, ironically, his route to go to the enemy capital makes more sense than Eirika's route, where she goes to Jehnna for (I think) reinforcements, but takes a whole army with her to do it if you pick her route.

There's a line after you kill Orson where Seth reprimands Ephraim, and basically says something similar, the people aren't cheering because you're back. They're cheering because you stopped Orson, and the implication that if Ephraim doesn't get his shit together, the people will just as happily cheer on whoever deposes him, which Ephraim definitely takes to heart. Regarding Lyon, while I definitely prefer the version of it in Eirika's route, Ephraim definitely does regret making Lyon feel like he didn't respect him. IIRC, there's a bit that implies Ephraim actually cries over making his friend feel that way.

SS has a lot that I love, like Innes being both incredibly determined, kind to those serving him, and a complete dickhead. Like when you first meet him in Erika's route, he's surrounded, and quite possibly about to die, and he fires Gerik and Tethys so they won't stay and die with him, only for them to stay anyway, pointing out that he can no longer order them to leave, or just how unwilling he is to give up, even when shit is completely fucked.

"Surrender? I'm the prince of Frelia. I don't know the meaning of the word. The fate of the world rides on my shoulders, and I'll make it to Jehanna. Even if I have to crawl to do it."

Or just about anything with L'archel and her crusade against the unholy monsters overrunning their land.

Innes rocks. IS executed the “guy who acts like a prick but really does care about others” trope splendidly well with him. I replayed FE8 recently and modern IntSys would’ve had Vanessa basically turn into Bernadetta during her supports with him. Moulder, too, is great. I’m a sucker for the token old guy who has it figured out archetype. Guys like him, Haar, Seteth.

New vid just dropped. It's just Pretty Boy hacking apart some dude riding an ostrich. I'm more interested in the units with glowing blue parts. Looks pretty similar to those giant robots that Team Slither used

Well the track got cut off right before it really becomes recognizable. But it's not exactly as fast-paced as I would liked.

Última edición:
Just wait until the negress queen gets her turn
I have to interject, neither Cai, nor the other chick, look like black people.

they look like fuckin Okinawan tanned Japs, as per protocol for Japs putting """"black/dark skinned""""" people into their games.

Much can be said about their retarded haircuts/dreads their dumb outfits.. but they sure as fuck ain't NIggers.

I mean look at this bitch, she has a tiny nose, green eyes, blonde hair, and what could be a very dark tan on a Jap, she looks nothing like a Bantu or Kenyan black or even a mulatto.
