According to Reddit these two should be lesbians. How are fan artists reacting to modern FE characters? I imagine that these extremely over designed outfits and hair styles are hard to draw.
Personally, I think that it's an fad that the Japs have been going through. Or that the newer set of devs really don't know how to make an SRPG work without having an insane amount if customization in it to hide whatever mistakes that they've might have made. Since Engage just made reclassify unattractive. And 3H's ideas were individually interesting, but it's kind of an "left hand vs right hand" deal between the sweaty gamer math and what they've placed on the field. Except for Lunatic (which wasn't available at launch)Is it too much to ask to just do a classic Fire Emblem format instead of all of this other time-wasting garbage?
I never understood people who insist on fictional races being based on real life equivalents. For representation, I guess? But even that doesn't make any sense in this case, there aren't any dark skinned people with pure white hair lol. We've already got unnatural hair colors, why not have unnatural skin colors too?and they certainly aren't happy about the local negroids having grey skin.
I just assumed that it was an 'tism thing for them to be projecting that hard. Those fuckers just called Claude an Asian because they want actual niggers instead of the thematically consistent Mediterranean approach. It's like the northern edge of Africa is just magically filled with coal-black guys wear straw skirts and shit.I never understood people who insist on fictional races being based on real life equivalents. Could we see those guys playable for the first time?
No avatar and using a base/camp setup like the Radiant games instead of the monastery would be my ideal. Allows for more screen time for characters that aren't important to the plot and it's not as contrived as there being precisely one big battle every month and Main Lord hauling the entire army back to their old school between them, aside from the "we're finally storming the enemy's capital" sequence in each route. That doesn't sell to waifu niggas though.Honestly, I liked the dungeon diving that Echoes did. It's just that social aspect of 3H was cringe, but at least they've passed it off as part of being inside a university (or just an church). Three Copes had some level of plausibility to it, but by then it just felt retarded and they haven't really bounced back with it in Fortune's Weave. And after that, we'll be walking around inside our fancy castle and having tea on the ramparts while a very grumpy barbarian is setting up in the catapults on your (proverbial) front lawn
Yeah, it certainly makes perfect sense to run back to the monastery after you take a fairly large bridge and just left behind a small force to watch over it. It's not like there's two other countries that would gladly snatch it away from you while you're fishing in the swimming pool or doing your share of gardeningand Main Lord hauling the entire army back to their old school between them,
I like 3 Houses, but I'll be the first to admit that the second half of the game only really makes sense if you assume everyone NOT in your Class/Army is retarded. Or, considering the Crest Eugenics that are going on, that everyone in charge is comically inbred, and thus extra retarded.Yeah, it certainly makes perfect sense to run back to the monastery after you take a fairly large bridge and just left behind a small force to watch over it. Nothing pisses me off more than over-designed characters. The general shitskinnery is one thing, but the contrast between Kaga Emblem and nuEmblem is staggering. It's like goytendo is still trying to spite Kaga while getting enriched by all his ideas that they still rely on.How are fan artists reacting to modern FE characters? The sheer amount of "pokemon blacks" I'm looking at right now... Who is your target audience goytendo? Awakening certainly started the trend there, and fuck you japs for giving them Italic names.Ver archivo adjunto 9127107

I'm reminded of Egypt trying to sue (((netflix))) for portraying Cleopatra as a sub-saharan sheboon. Even north africans don't want to be sub-saharans.It's like the northern edge of Africa is just magically filled with coal-black guys wear straw skirts and shit.
"hey Seteth/Claude/Byleth, we took some losses, but we put Edelgard and Hubert out of commission for a while and killed a bunch of Edelgard's other top guys. Should we eat lunch with Marianne and Balthus for three weeks, or try and press our advantage?"Yeah, it certainly makes perfect sense to run back to the monastery after you take a fairly large bridge and just left behind a small force to watch over it. I think that's a bit unfair."hey Seteth/Claude/Byleth, we took some losses, but we put Edelgard and Hubert out of commission for a while and killed a bunch of Edelgard's other top guys. Should we eat lunch with Marianne and Balthus for three weeks, or try and press our advantage?"
I'm going to play devil's advocate and note that 3H was the game that made clearer that the playable units are officers in a larger army rather than the entirety of the heroes' fighting force, and that the battles being played are that of tide-turning strikes against strategic locations rather than the inching of the day-to-day fighting. I think it is fair to say that the return to the main base is just the officers while the locations are held by non-trivial garrisons that the enemy force can't or won't advance on following their losses in that months' battle. Assume that the rollout to the frontlines isn't actually a days' travel, but more the week between the last day off and the battle.Yeah, it certainly makes perfect sense to run back to the monastery after you take a fairly large bridge and just left behind a small force to watch over it. Yes I’m a fan of battalions because they reinforce that on a gameplay and story integration way and all the characters went to the officers’ academy. Theorycrafting my ideal set of FE mechanics, I’m definitely not against it in other settings, but I’m not sure whether the concept applies as well to other games where your Lord or some random guy can recruit people off the enemy forces by talking to them. Like, would you trust someone like FE7 Karel or Rennac with a dozen random soldiers’ lives?I'm going to play devil's advocate and note that 3H was the game that made clearer that the playable units are officers in a larger army rather than the entirety of the heroes' fighting force, and that the battles being played are that of tide-turning strikes against strategic locations rather than the inching of the day-to-day fighting. I actually appreciate that, even if they are still overdesigned. Newer Fire Emblem has a lack of ugly/generic looking units in your army. I always liked when units would join your army as a group in the older games with one leader and a couple mooks who get a single line each. There should be a balance between giving them some personality while also having some be clearly more important than others.Ver archivo adjunto 9127107

I guess that is what the authority weakness is supposed to represent in 3H: characters that make for crappy field commanders due to lacking the temperament or desire to command. The whole “officers leading units” thing is definitely not true for every game since many make a point about how small the party is, so that may not really show up again unless IS decides to make battalions a more permanent fixture after Fortune's Weave.Yes I’m a fan of battalions because they reinforce that on a gameplay and story integration way and all the characters went to the officers’ academy.
