I'm just saying. If you want to cap everything because you want to cap everything, that's your business.

But it's worth keeping in mind that most people do it to show off and wear a crown. And that the vast majority of those people often prove to be retards who don't actually know how to play the game despite their Mentorship status and level capped in every Job.

Anyone who isn't either new to the game or a brain-damaged socialite usually knows by now that, between a Sprout and a Mentor in the party, the Mentor will probably be the bigger dead weight compared to the Sprout.

I mainly did it so I'd have a good idea which classes I enjoyed(although thats possible without maxing) and for more freedom to switch around at will. It's also nice to be able to really cut down on armory space from redundant gear sets, but that probably doesn't justify the time investment.

Personally I felt pretty satisfied seeing all those round orange numbers lined up when I hit that goal but maybe that's just the autism.
This too.

There's modbeasts, and then there's whatever the fuck these are

I have no idea how people are able to level DPS without losing their fucking minds.

(do DOH/DOL next or no balls)
Its queue autist hell but you get the upside of turning off your brain even more compared to dealing with a mediocre tank as a healer and vice versa

Post 71 you can just grind Bozja fates somewhat comfortably

It's not the queue times that are the most painful thing about leveling DPS.
Yeah, leveling DPS is rough when you have to deal with an extremely slow tank or terrible healer bottlenecking the speed of the run. I miss leveling tanks because you can just carry most dungeons.

I find I went faster leveling healer in my runs, because many healers are pussies with bad to nonexistent uptime while most tanks tend to try to mass pull in the majority of 4 mans which is enough.

DPS is still probably the worst though even if you ignore the queue times, unless you get some really dog shit pair of dps as healer/tank.

I just leveled my DPS via Frontlines roulette / challenge log / Wondrous Tails / Bozja / MSQ roulette (if I was truly bored/desperate.)

I wouldn't subject myself to dungeons as DPS.

All fun and games until you get a tank in leveling gear who eats the floor trying to w2w.

DRK in 61-70 dungeons is especially bad.

I must be just the best healer or something, or having bad tanks wakes me up enough that it isn't a bad thing, because I don't remember shit being that bad past the level 50s where tanks wore DRG gear. I think the only exception is Bardem, but I've done it fine enough even with some dumpster tanks. DRKs are worse, but I mean it isn't that horrible considering most leveling tanks use their CDs like fucking shit anyway (if they remember them) so DRK having one less doesn't really mean much. A minus 1 from 0 is still 0 as you can't have negative tank CDs.

Plus with White Mage you just stun shit anyway so who cares? I'm pressing Holy.
