Translation : "your character made me horny, but I can't find your carrd to properly stalk you and skin you alive while I wear your face, do you have instagram colon three?"

The "perhaps you're on the spectrum" line is amazing, the lack of self awareness is just chef's kiss.

It's also probably reportable, do your civic duty.

That's some peak ESL 'tism speak right there. I'd have probably put them on ignore after the first and left it at that.

I mean, you could probably spin a story about how offensive it is that they basically accused you of being autistic for not understanding their autism.

I'm sure that would make it GM actionable.

This seems to be some RP sperg who is probably socially inept, maybe have some kind of tism while also being bad at English. I almost feel bad for this guy's issues as he probably uses RP to cope with being some friendless outcast, but people like this tend to be creepy weirdos. Considering this is FFXIV RP we're talking about, they're probably beyond just a little weird.

Is the 6.0 patch content worth playing though?

No.

The current MSQ storyline has a cool premise: work for the king of Thavnair and explore the Void, but it's badly presented. You still have to put up with hours and hours of visual novel cutscenes with formulaic scene pacing and predictable dialogue. You still have to put up with the Scions. You don't get to explore new areas of Thavnair. You only get to visit the Void in 15 minute long corridor dungeons, not as full blown questing zones. There is no tension as 4 out of the 5 antagonists are killed off almost as quickly as they are introduced and inflict zero damage to Thavnair or to the Scions. The defeat of the fifth and final antagonist and the success of the mission is a foregone conclusion so there isn't any motivation to turn the page and find out what happens next. The heroes will probably save the Void while their at it too. Also, you revisit Garlemald and it completely breezes over interesting story materials such as their Reaper lore or Garlemald's reconstruction.

The 8-man raid story is... okay. Not really exciting but not awful either. Once again, you have the intriguing premise of exploring a wizard prison, but then you never really get to thoroughly explore it. You just get teleported from boss fight to boss fight. Can't remember any of the bosses being special.

The 24-man alliance raid story is pretty awful. You have to put up with G'raha Tia and an uwu Roegadyn girl. More gratuitous wank as the gods pat you on the back. Only notable thing about is that the first raid had a boss arena that wasn't a square or a circle (the fight on top of the statue's stone hand with the moving finger).

I think there is a questline with Tataru where you go around meeting up with past characters again, but I haven't done it. Sounds like more overly saacharine, mastrubatory crap.

There is no difficult Eureka/Bozja zone that you spend a lot of time in and forces you to make friends. No difficult raid like BA or Castrum or DR. We now have wellfare relic weapons that you get from doing more of that gag comedy storyline about the detective and spending 1,500 tomestones.

They added a new 5v5 PvP arena (same gamemode of push the crystal), but honestly PvP in FFXIV isn't very enjoyable. The time to kill is ridiculously short. You get bursted down faster than you do in WoW PvP or GW2 5v5 matches. You can't mount up in the arenas and there is only one objective, so there is hardly any downtime and strategic decision making like in other MMOs where you are travelling to a location or guarding an objective. Combined with the sliding and the clunky engine and input delay, it just feels bad.

They added a new Gold Saucer jumping puzzle but it feels like a decline design wise.

Overall wouldn't recommend. If you want to play an MMO then I'd advise checking out GW2 or WoW atm, but honestly the genre as a whole is in an awful state and there isn't any hope for the future. All three games are in managed decline. I had hope that the Runeterra MMO would save the genre, but Greg Street has left Riot so there goes that. Currently playing WoW atm, killing puny alliance in RBGs and in war mode. New content patch comes out next week. Story is shit but at least we're getting a new zone next week and the combat and character building is fun. Only reason I'm still subscribed to FF14 is because I don't want to lose my house but I'm gradually caring less and less about that. My friends who were playing FF14 since ARR have quit, some going back to WoW but most exiting the MMO genre entirely. 7.0 is going to make or break my interest in FF14.

Yeah so far the artifact weapon quests really only provide the amusement of a single episode of Hildibrand (Which has actually been decent) aaand.. then its over. Turn in your 1500 tomestones and get your upgrade, get outta our hair we ain't putting effort into this one.

I really miss Bozja and the like, I ended up really enjoying the stuff in it.

I'm fine with the current MSQ because I like FF4 shit. I keep forgetting the 8-man raids exist most of the time. I think the current 24-mans are actually very fun and I don't mind re-running them when I have to, though I still prefer the Nier Automata raid series more. Crystalline Conflict can be very fun if you aren't matched with retards (which you will be nine times out of ten), but if you're getting instantly assblasted so quickly, then you're either not making smart use of your kit or you're constantly overextending like a motherfucker. Not to mention that you're not meant to mount up in 5v5 – that shit's reserved for Frontline PvP with the actual fuckhuge maps. The new Gold Saucer jumping puzzle is surprisingly very fun, and I usually fucking hate doing them most of the time. The instances just need better netcoding because it's a bitch and a half when you get through the entire obstacle course and realize you missed a single stray bronze Cactuar because the game refused to load it in on your first lap.

I really have loved the 24 man raids, they've struck me far more than the rest of the content. The 8 mans are.. fine. I've no idea where the hell its going with the final stretch but I'm sure it will be absolutely batshit. Hoping the gear will look alright.

The FF4 'retelling' has mostly been okayish but its not subtle or remixed all that well. I enjoyed the lore on the void and the 13th, the side stories were fairly interesting but you'd think they'd weave it into the direct MSQ. Instead its mostly blindly looking around for a missing sister and getting nowhere. Yeehaw.

Maybe Lord Humongous will make for a fun fight. We'll just have to see but they usually make a tough and interesting trial out of the story finale bosses.

- WoW's PVP has been shit since Cata. Thanks "muh e-sports" that Blizzard has been so obsessed over because Starcraft.

- Speaking of Cata, Greg Street is fucking overrated, ever since he was in charge WoW had gone on decline. People liked him because he talked too much. I'm not going to play the riot mmo anyway because fuck Riot which is twice as bad as what Blizzard is guilty of.

- Alliance raids are ok but I do enjoy the Nier raids more, the only thing they have it going is that they're short and sweet unlike those Ivaliace raids.

- I enjoyed Eureka but aside from the boss encounters and the levelling bonuses it provided, Bozja was pretty much meh. (I have an anti-FF12 bias.)

- Post 6.0 MSQ is filler and it's FF4 fanservice. 6.1 was good if you enjoy pvp, 6.2 was excellent, 6.3 aside from the ultimate raid and the deep dungeon was pretty much meh. I think 6.4 is going to be better.

I blame the fact the average mouth breather couldn't do CLL or DR's most basic request from the playerbase for why Bozja is never coming back. Because using your free overpowered bullshit buffs and skills is an impossible ask because so many RPG players hoard shit for no fucking reason. Especially JRPG/FF players for some fucking reason.

"Man I better horde my 20 fucking dps buff potions that last until I leave the zone, who knows when I'll need them!?" Bitch we're in a fucking mass raid with a ton of bosses, where the fuck else are you going to use these things?

Make above at best easy EX trial levels of mechanic tuning and the community loses their mind, nope gimme my fate grind slop that's how real players earn their relics bucko. I'll take this tome trash over fate grinding to be honest though, at least it is over quick and I never put a ton of stock in relic gameplay until Bozja and when I went back to experience Eureka.

"Atma grinding wasn't so bad" I want Red Comet to just Choco Meteor these people off the game. That bird was my best friend in this game during Shadowbringers, what a champion.

Eeeyep. Pretty sure a tier of potions are DR only buffs too but they ain't using them. Even when there's a chest there purely so you can pick up your goodies.

Thanks for reminding me that I still need to run DR in order to progress Bozja and that I dread both the queue time and the average competency of my party.

I'm glad I got Bozja out of the way when everyone was still waiting for endwalker to come out cause from what I've heard it's dropped in activity considerably by now and there's less of a hyper autistic fanbase for it like there is for Eureka and especially Baldesion arsenal. I never liked these zones much when I was going through them but at this point I'm starting to understand the appeal more compared to what we got instead.

Sorry but for all the problems the post 6.0 patches may have, this is like like saying "man purgatory sucks, I want to hop onto the sixth circle of hell instead"

Gw2 PvE is in a state where for open world, the latest expansion has seen encounters nerfed into the ground because the average gw2 player makes your FF14 daily roulette shitter look like a MENSA member; they literally bitched about that fucking turtle mount unlock so much because the fight where it you get it required you to do more than press 1 and let the 4 dudes in the map who half know mechanics carry the other 50 retards around that arena.net decided to nerf it until the supposed "final dragon" of Tyria was as threatening as a puppy, not the first time either as they had previously meganerfed the Drakkar fight for similar reasons.

GW2 Instanced PvE is a mess, they have been releasing "not-raids" by changing their names and they have been uninspired, easy mode garbage (I have cleared those solo or duo when they were current), actual raids have been abandoned because "too hard".

Of course by too hard, you'd think it would be "they are too hard for the retards who only know how to press 1" and you would be half right, they are also too hard for arena.net, that's why years later they are still plagued with bugs.
And the reason they are plagued with bugs still has to do with internal arena.net drama where money was embezzled for years on some undisclosed projected helmed by a now deported german dangerhair, which then lead to the parent company NCsoft stepping in and firing 75% of the studio, the people who could fix them simply don't work there anymore

GW2 sPvP is a joke, it's unenjoyable at best, and if for some reason and *quite a lot* of mental illness you decide to be competitive in it, you have to deal with an obscene ammount of wintrading and winselling, TeamUSA has been doing this shit with the automated tournaments since they released, and for half a decade before that too.

GW2 WvW is the biggest offender if you can even comprehend it, the mode was outright abandoned with zero updates for nearly a decade, and when arena.net finally decides to put some dude in charge of doing something with it, they pick a fucking GvGer of all things.
I will now add context as to why that's an *awful* decision to everyone who has never touched that game :
World vs World is a mode of mass PvP inside four massive maps with many objectives (a lot strategic, unless it's the shit desert map), not all objectives are equal and each "world" tends to form squads of 10-50 players to fight out the bigger ones.
The entire mode revolves around mass fights (unless you're from the AIR guild then you teleport out of those), and not just in an open field where you can see each other, but across a variety of terrain which you *have* to account for, it's not uncommon to see groups funnel fights into valleys, hiding into cliff faces to strike, etc.
So, what is GvG? gvg is two composed groups of equal numbers fighting in a fucking square, there's no numbers advantage, no different compositions, no strategic value to striking according to terrain, no hit and run mechanics, it's 15v15 in a square.

So what happens when you put someone who thinks this "self made" bullshit is what world v world should be? you get balance accounting for equal numbers and equal everything, as such the mode is in such a state where smaller groups can no longer fight bigger ones (they used to), and 3 idiots with siege (there are arrow carts, catapults, etc that players can build) can defend from a 15 player group extremely easily.
You can see how well received this is by going to the forum balance patches announcements for WvW and seeing 20 pages of mockery, nobody except the 50 or so autists who believe they are the master race of GvG like this shit.

At long last. I don't know if I should feel happy or depressed about this.

@ChromaQuack It’s also aggressively woke from what I can tell. Ascalonians are colonizers apparently and evil, genderspecial shit, etc.

It makes WoW Dragonflight look normal.
