Rut Roh, Raggy!!! Looks to me like Layla (got me on my knees! Layla!) is about to get Magichan and Rosechu into a WHOLE lot of yellow-tinted shit. All because he subconciously can't tell the difference between hired Layla Flaafy and bored to death thrillseeking Rosechu and went and blabbed to Layla in his muddled state. Poor guy, like he hasn't suffered enough for his bisexual pickle's needs. (Beggin Darlin' Please! Layla!! Darlin' won't you ease my worried mind!) Punchy is probably just making it worse by trying to shut Layla up, thus drawing Sonichu's attention to what she is saying. Bitter times are ahead for Magi-Chan. As usual.

note: lyrics are sung in the manner of the original Layla, not the unplugged version.

It was alright overall, definitely one of the vidya game movies I've seen, even made me chuckle a few times. But it was also most decidedly for the kiddies and I had to make a conscious effort to ignore a number of the plot holes I could drive a zeppelin through.

As it is... apologies for no page yesterday. I finished the preliminary sketches and the script but it kind of meandered, and I wasn't really happy about it. So I slept on it and tightened it up:

And Punchy’s getting to witness all the flashbacks too. Right as Sonichu is revealed to be a cuck, classic.

And yeah, definitely a kid’s movie, but an actual good one for once

Jesus GodBear Christ! Did Magi ever take a level in nutting up!

I hope he's silently calling up some strong psychic restraints or spirit guardians or some such shit because Sonichu's gone from befuddled to snaprage in seconds more then once before.

*edit from after below's panel* Well, I see why that was optimistic, @_blank_ . I had almost forgotten JUST how badly broken Magichan really is right now. He's all done with this shit, and really dosent give a damn what happens.

I actually feel bad for both of them in this situation. Magi because he clearly wants out, and Sonichu because, as fucked up as he is, still thinks he’s the hero and the one in the right.

No one is the villain of their own story.
 
Well, today has gone to hell.

No way I'm going to be getting a page done unless I try to hammer one out after I get back in after midnight. But I know the next page is going to be a chatty one so unless I pull a patented Chris Text Wall maneuver, it's going to take a bit more effort than what I'll probably be able to muster after today's work shift.

So, as a consolation prize - instead of anything with substance, here's some cheesecake.



See youse guys tomorrow if work doesn't kill me first.
