Thanks... thing is though the closest Wally World to me is over an hour away, nearest CVS and Target is over two. Thankfully there is a clinic and a drugstore in the ass-end-of-nowhere town I reside in, but this town is also inundated with senior citizens so in times like this I'd suspect standing waist high in runoff water during a thunderstorm to be safer than going to the clinic.I completely understand your fear, those who are asthmatic old or immuno-compromised are the ones we need to protect(and the ones who should be having the hand sani/facemasks/ect.../TP). If your really worried, look into pickup services and delivery. I know some grocery chains offer delivery and others and Target and Walmart (maybe walmart? I don't shop there but I'd assume so) offers a service where you order online and do a "pickup". So the employees will grab your items and bring them to your car so you don't have to go inside.
Regarding any medicine, if you have a CVS near you they offer delivery and are currently waving the delivery fee because of the current circumstances. And this part is important for someone with asthma - if you are low or lowish on any inhalers you are on, look into getting a refill asap. Many are going on back order from demand between people just trying to get them like how I'm suggesting to you and doctors are prescribing them way more now too. If you pay with insurance and it's to soon, you can always look into GoodRX to pay out of pocket some inhalers are a bit pricey though. You can ask if the pharmacy can do an "natural disaster override" with your insurance and if that doesn't work you can call them yourself to ask if they would given the circumstances. Best of luck! Looking forward to the next page!
As it is, I'm stocked up for least 90 days meds-wise so it's now just a case of waiting.
