I love overanalyzing so I'll delve deeper into the whole Magi-chan 'the indifferent god'. Now I'm not pretending I've got a secret hotline with
@_blank_ and we share secrets about where he's going with TRS but I'll still take a whack at it.
The aside part with Bob mentioning the mirror and it affecting Chris plays into where Chris got his freaky-deeky powers; each Sonichu 'birthed' by his 'imagination' is essentially a portion of his own psyche. He goes even further by becoming one of his abominations, the world around him being forced to warp and twist to his machinations as the veil between reality and fantasy is taken behind the local soup hotel and disemboweled.
One of his 'children', Magi-chan, is basically gifted on the same level as his 'father', Bending time and space, reading minds, warping reality; a living, breathing dues ex machina. The power to do and fix anything.
And he fucks it up royally.
This last little portion of the story symbolizes it so well. Magi-chan could have stepped in at anytime to stop this mayhem but all he did was watch it unfold. Then Angelica pulls a full team rez and now you've got a swarm of abominations being reborn with their inhibitions put on standby with Chris just staring on, wide eyed and seemingly unphased by the slaughter.
So Magi-chan nuts up and pulls a hard reset on everyone.
Now any techhead will tell you that a hard reset isn't good for your computer. It's more of a last resort, really, but our favorite purple pussy goes full exceptional individual without a moments hesitation, undoing all the bad deeds and pretending they never happened. How many times has Magi pulled a hard reset out of his ass?
As I mention in the prior each of the Sonichu's manifest as a portion of Chris' psyche; Magi-chan is the voice of reason screaming at the top of its lungs for some semblance of sanity.
