Because they all come from the same art schools (which try to "iron out" their own individual styles,) and they care more about diversity and inclusion than they care about making a distinctive show.
This is actually what makes DuckTales getting axed so sad: this was the one reboot that didn't go "Fuck you old fans your original show fucking sucked and this one's NOT FOR YOU!!!" It was a tribute to the old that embraced what made it so good while doing it's own thing at the same time.

Got the final episode descriptions

Edit: Anyone have any hopes or thoughts about these final episodes

I understand that Frank Angones mentioned that he was lucky to get a third season given how short cartoons last and that it's time has come, but I'm still going to miss the show once it's gone. If you take it and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, they can be a good example of what to do and what not to do when making your reboot.

I only wish that Donald got more awesome moments that weren't "he gets angry and climbs all over an enemy babbling like a fool"

Bro needed some legit badass moments where he gets "serious" and btfo's someone faster than Scrooge would.

Giving credit where it is due, this was a reboot that actually respected the original that came before and was, by modern standards, incredibly restrained in its wokeness. Sad that it had to go out this way, but what can you do when your under the iron boot of the rat.

Yeah, even if staff members like Samantha C. King AKA Diet Sabrina Cotugno like to claim it's woke, There's nothing really woke in the actual series aside from a few background things, and that's definitely a breath of fresh air

One thing from my childhood that will never fade:
My love of the Ducktales theme song.
Now that's some good old fashioned foot tappin', finger snappin' sound. A-woo-ooh!

I felt like marathoning the show and this wouldn't leave my head until I put it down. Going back to how Ducktales and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power are examples of what to do and not to do...

10) Better animated, the men actually have crotches, and the women aren't dumpy/flat.
9) The mysteries (such as Della's disappearance) are actually solved.
8) Whatever issues Frank Angones has isn't inserted into his work.
7) While your mileage may vary with Glomgold, the villains are an actual threats that don't jump ship just because things got hard. Nor are established ones replaced with teenagers who aren't a real challenge.
6) The makers aren't afraid of conflict and saying no to shippers (at least Frank is).
5) Lena betrayed Magica (the first season's big bad) because Scrooge and his crew showed her the care and family she always wanted. Catra only helped Glimmer because Horde Prime wouldn't put up with her shit. Not to mention that Lena had to suffer and work for her happy ending while Catra, Hordak and Entraptra got slaps on the wrists for their bad deeds.
4) Launchpad has his moments of vulnerability and intelligence (in his own way) beneath his himbo demeanor. Seahawk is just a destructive fop who is there to give the finger to the original show's Adora x Seahawk pairing.
3) If Ducktales had an abusive lesbian relationship in it, it would probably be handled with tact, not as something kawaii. Also, the LGBT stuff (see Violet's gay dads or Penumbra being a lesbian) doesn't try too hard.
2) Plot is more important than shipping.
1) The original show and comics are respected and enjoyed while the makers did their homework on the past, not sneered at.

Thanks for putting up with this.

If they don't play this song in the last episode, then I'll be disappointed.

I'm pretty sure that the brunette singing that actually voices webby in this version, so I'm still fairly hopeful.

It's arguably woke because characters that were less impressive in the original, Webby being top of the list alongside Dijon, got made either a little or a lot more competent and involved when they were in the story. It added a (arguably disabled but I think mechanical limbs cheat that) competent but still flawed female character with Della, cut back on old stereotypes and while it's kind of hard to do diversity with anthropomorphic creatures they certainly had character relationships that reflected that things had changed since the first run.

But ultimately it's more focused on being a children's show than screaming a specific message at the top of its lung. It felt like a remake should, something made for a new audience that grew up in a different world.

From what I remember, the wokeness was implemented well. It wasn't patronizing and didn't stop the flow of the stories.

And that's the key. You can have female leads and all the diversity you want...but can the writing be good? And also, can you not fuck with the characters I already like?

I am more than happy to live in a world that includes Della Duck as long as you don't ruin Scrooge and Donald to make that happen.

Now that there are only two episodes left, anyone have any thoughts on the last two
The Life and Crimes of Scrooge McDuck: The concept sounds interesting, especially since there's a chance that this will go into Magica's past and we'll get to see her brother, Poe (who appeared in the original show).

The Last Adventure: This one will be a 90 minute episode with pretty much everyone in it. After reading the wiki page for this episode, I have a theory for Webby.

Notice how there is no April listed in the credits and how there's a mention of three Webbys in the first part of the episode. My guess is that Webby is a triplet herself and May and June are her sisters. My guess is that May and June are part of FOWL and Mrs. Beakly stole Webby away when she was an egg/infant.
