BREAKING NEWS: Webby Vanderdyke dead at 13. @Webby's Boyfriend on suicide watch.
Disney's new style for Ducktales looked like ass anyway. Seems to be their new thing, making cartoons with horrendeous looking styles. I still want to strangle the guy who made the new Mickey Mouse cartoons, that look more like Ren&Stimpy shat all over the animaniacs.
The voice acting was atrocious too. Kids sounded like 35 year old Starbucks employees.

It got 3 seasons, so as long as it doesn't end on some massive cliffhanger, I think its fine to wrap it up.

As someone who has hated most reboots, this thing was a pleasant surprise and I thank those involved for putting the right amount of care into it.

Sadly, this will be the last season of the show according to Frank Angones.

It's a shame since it was a good show and in a sea of mediocre reboots and cal-arts crap, this one had care put into it. Anyway, here's hoping that they'll finish the season and we'll get a DWD reboot. (Hopefully done by Matt and Frank.)
Why do good shows like this get axed in their prime while shit like Steven Universe keep going indefinitely? I mean, I would hate for it to get really bad like some shows, but DuckTales wasn't even close to there yet.

Indeed and we could add to the list, shows like Ben 10 who started good but the producers pressed the lemon to the maximun for reboots and spin-offs who lack what's made the original series good.

I say it still had another season or two left in it. Personally, I would've been interested in seeing how Frank would've handled Brigitta MacBridge (a spendthrift businesswoman who is in love with Scrooge McDuck in the comics).

I watched one episode and decided my life would be no richer with its inclusion. So I skipped it and instead went back and rewatched the original and the movie. Nostalgic as fuck.

In my opinion it had potential but it wasted it (to be fair i only watched up to rhe beginning of the episode with the mummies that looked it would be inferior to the old Ducktales series episode with Scrooge and Donald in Egypt (if I remember correctly) so what i write is based on incomplete knowledge) but the best characters were Donald and Scrooge despite in the airing order it took too much time after the two parter for Scrooge to get back to adventuring and the worst were the triplets and Webby because i am not against different interpretations of existing characters but as too different or pushing potential modern sjwism (well it was possible in what I saw, the boys being dumber and more incompetent than in any other material I saw them in and Webby being too much written like the usual female protagonists are these days)

So did it get better?

Magica De Spell was fucking amazing

This GIF is all I really know about the new Ducktales so it didn't seem that bad.

Too much Webby in the reboot, and not enough Scrooge.

Also the guy they got to play Scrooge has the fakest scottish accent ever. I miss Alan Young.
But David Tennant is Scottish. Alan Young was from North Shields. So, what you're saying is the British dude had a better Scottish accent than the Scot.

E-
That song is made even better because Kate Micucci voices Webby. Do you think it's @Webby's Boyfriend's theme?

Última edición:
He may have been directed to embellish it or play it to a point that it sounded fake. Similar thing happened with Fang's voice actor for FFXIII and her Australian accent
