Using Brave with Norton (the antivirus) VPN, got this:

For the non tech-savvies that use Proton 's NetShield on LibreWolf or Firefox and the .net domain redirects you to the .st as it should, check the browser settings and go to the "Privacy & Security" section, at the bottom you see "DNS over HTTPS". You might have at the "Max Protection" option and that is bypassing NetShield's DNS giving you the illusion that its working fine but its not. File a complaint, fuck those niggers that have the audacity of adding a "Help us fight censorship" button on their fucking software that is currently censoring the Farms.

Leaving this here just in case.

I use AdGuard Home for my DNS needs. The Farms load just fine, regardless of whether my upstream DNS provider is Cloudflare, Quad9, or AdGuard itself.

I was thinking about buying hide.me since the free trial I had was decent and they have a good offer on now, I'd be interested to see what they're doing here.

I use Windscribe, nothing wrong on my end. And my real residental IP/Wi-Fi works fine, but that's mostly thanks to living in a country with Internet access that does not care about trannies too much, only if you're Elon Musk and our Supreme Court gets pissy at you for not complying to our authority when it matters for our interests.

Works with iCloud Private Relay plus nextDNS with various blocklists.

Sent my complaint to Proton as a long time paying user, they don't get to claim to be against censorship and then block a domain because a bunch of mentally ill losers don't like it.

That's exactly why I've never used Protons NetShield. I don't want them blocking me from piracy sites or something under the guise of protecting me and I noticed a long time ago when it got turned in by accident that they were blocking KF.

Also, regarding ISPs, some (AT&T) not only don't allow you to change away from their DNS servers but actively hijack outgoing requests to other servers and redirect to theirs. Only way to bypass is VPN or DNS over HTTPS (DoH).
