Not really. I was never a fan of his music. I got tired of hearing about him all the time. To me he was just another rich weirdo. Probably fucked up by the life he lived as a kid and being a celebrity especially at a young age. Some people just can't handle it.

His music is ok at least some of it is. There is worse stuff you could listen to.

Leaving Neverland 2 comes out in a week or so premiering on YouTube. The same men from the first film are back for their palimony money.

I do believe them when they say he fucked them. But from how long they were involved I don't think it was coerced.

Jacko sure got around. Boys boys boys!
I'm not even an MJ fan, but I do like Thriller. The man had a fucked up childhood, and he lived it vicariously by making children happy.

All of his "victims" say nothing ever happened. Corey Feldmen said he was the only only who didn't try to diddle him.

His lawyer told him to settle out of court, for the lawsuit where the parent had no problem with a grown man sleeping in the same room (oops, wing, totally diffrent than room) of his mansion.

Imagine reading the lying ass media, and saying they got this wrong, and that wrong, but they are telling the truth about this.....

Finding this thread through the latest posts features is a perfect chance to finally how someone this.

I stumbled upon this higher resolution publicity photo taken on the set of Black or White in 1992

Seems normal, right?

Right?

Holy hell does that vitiligo hand look awful. They must have used a ton of of hand make up and editing to hide this in the video itself

defending a weird ass pedo nigger...

As for his music: Jackson was only good as long as Quincy Jones produced him, a host of great songwriter like Rod Temperton wrote the songs for him and great musicians (and Jackso really got all the talent from McCartney, the Toto guys to Van Halen to Steve Stevens and Slash, insane how he was able to collect literally everybody) played for him. Once that was all gone (around Dangerous), it showed that there wasn't really much to him.
And he stole all his dance moves from Bob Fosse - and the moonwalk from Bill Bailey who did it already in 1955.
Nothing about Jackson was original or creative. Just goes to show what power marketing and mtv had over people (same with crappy nirvana and the grunge fad)

He died way too early. We were robbed of the neverland siege. We were robbed of big jacko and his child soldiers. We were robbed of liquid michael.

I'm a millennial so I knew him for his whacko Jacko antics not the music.

But about that music... "Thriller" the album seems to be an usual aberration for him. In other words it's too good to be just him producing it. There was definite leg work big time from other people involved. The album's after that where he got more creative control are generic to absolutely terrible.

When he lost Quincy it was buh bye good music.

There were some good songs on History and invincible, but his anger era from that point really made the albums suffer.
I also think he biggest issue with his music post Thriller is the excessive use of percussions. Bad has a reasonable amount, but Dangerous onward is almost more percussion than any other instrument and it’s extremely distracting

I never thought of the meta levels of the song black and white before. Or Michael Jackson singing "I'm not gonna spend my life being a (person of) color"
The old saying was that money and celebrity erased the color line. (Think OJ Simpson, before he murdered his white wife). I think MJ took this literally and was upset his skin didn’t turn magically white when he was the most famous man in the world, so he had to bleach it himself. He might have got his hopes up that it was happening but then doctors explained it was just vitiligo.

I thought it was interesting that of his dozen of little boy “friends” there was never a black one. MJ was only attracted to little white boys.

(I also believe his “daughter’s” sperm donor was Mark Lester, the former child actor from 1960’s Oliver! who he was obsessed with. Luckily a girl was produced with that batch, maybe so he wouldn’t be too tempted. A little boy that looked like Mark Lester would have been in serious danger. It would seem Lester had sperm that favored XX since he has three daughters.)

Jackos life and death created an entire tabloid and talk show industry niche. From what I remember Mark Lester was named as the sperm donor for two of the kids. This leaked out after Jacko died and I think it was Harvey Levin (TMZ owner) who knew about the kids paternity from an unknown source before anyone else.

I don't know if anyone remembers how close fat Debbie Rowe came to getting custody of the two kids. The cow came so close to getting millions (more) dollars.

@Vyse Inglebard That just says to me, that he didn't have the horn for Culkin and Feldman. Pedos and rapists are known to have a type, or some types.

I heard, anyway, that Feldman got diddled or buggered by Joey-the-Slow-Orphan-But-Not-So-Much-Because-He-Had-A-Dad-Who-Went-On-Rampage-After-He-Got-Axed-To-Death on the set of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter. He's dead, too.

He lifted the Moonwalk (with permission) as we know it from that guy in Shalamar who did it on 'Top of the pops first'.

All the session musicians Quincy Jones brought in show up everywhere in all pop music of that era except for EVH.

MJ was an 'entertainer', same as Madonna except better. No better dancer/singer so far. Wouldn't expect major song writing ability in addition to all that.
