Zombie Simpsons wouldn’t have made that last joke. They’d have had her shame the guy off the horse so she could have it.Looks about as mediocre as the first. More zombie Simpsons than Futurama.
Did all those 10 year old sex slaves suck too hard and extract Groening's sense of humor or something?
I never watched the show. It looked mediocre and everyone tells me its mediocre.
Its a shame too because Simpsons and Futurama are pretty awesome votes of confidence in the dude's work, but this never peaked my interest at all.
Kubrick says hiGetting old sucks. Pretty much every creator that gets old starts to put out shitty work. I think George Miller, Kurosawa and Mario Bava might be the few exceptions to the rule.

Also in regards to the show, the comedy is piss poor but for whatever reason I'm intrigued to watch despite it all
This is the worst problem, the first 4 or 5 episodes rush through the plot and then there's 4 episodes of filler and one episode that's just a big cliffhanger for season3.The major reveals at the start got shoved aside for loads of filler episodes and the main plot points only came back for the obligatory cliffhanger leading onto season 3. It annoys me so much when a series can't just do a storyline straight.
Yes, it did. The production cycle on this is 20 episodes at a time split into 10 episode seasons. After the first batch was released, Netflix announced they had picked it up for another cycle, meaning we’ll be getting 10 episodes each in 2020 and 2021.And I'm going to guess it got renewed by Netflix and there will be another 2 seasons anyway.
They don't particularly explore their characters that well. The episode about Prince Derek particularly.
That's what I was wondering about too. One episode, they get the elves to revive Dreamland, the next there's an Elf-Ghetto...Dumb question, but was there ever an explanation for why the elfs decided to move to Dreamland?
Yeah, you'd think there'd be something, but it's just Beanie "rescues" Derek and then the episode is over... and frankly, I doubt we'll see much of that Octopus again. The lack of resolution to the octopus plot is one of the most frustrating things about this season. I get that the octopus is probably coming back next season, but the ending to that episode was too abrupt. Serialization is no excuse for shoddy plotting!
