TS5 will not flop
Yup, if Jeremy Jahns early review is anything to go by, it's better than 4 and will not flop. Sorry, forgive me for my error, but every legacy franchise has been on the chopping block lately. After 4s lukewarm reception, I figured it might be Toy Story's time. Apparently not. Perhaps some things truly are timeless. Even after 30 fucking years.

Jackass will both flop. The people on Jackass are too old now.
Jackass will probably do just fine purely because it has "THE LAST" in the title. If you watch the Jackass movies consecutively and see them getting older over time, their attitude towards this shit actually spirals downward. It's pretty funny to watch these guys go from young and filled with enthusiasm to old and full of dread.

Has anyone heard this stuff about exposing the existence of Aliens with James Franco? He claims he made contact with an Alien (in his garage!) and ran away from them, and is now posting schizophrenic and coded Youtube Shorts with dogwhistles for Pizzagate/Epstein. I think this is some kind of performance art tied to Disclosure Day itself, the timing is too close together and one commenter said his tags include DisclosureDay. He even rants at the end of one of these "this is not promoting a movie", which someone paid to promote a movie would undoubtedly say.

Proof it's him:

Feel free to remove if it's too off-topic, but it's schizo enough to be interesting, IMO.

Wasn't he like an actor that got #Metooed?

So this cybersecurity dude gets info about aliens and he wants to show it off to people but he has to run the fuck away from the government.
Why won't he just post it on 4chan and Kiwi Farms?
Would you believe some schizo posting their own alien contact on /x/? Or here?

Also, do normies know about us? I've always thought that most people think that the edgy forbidden place is reddit, not here. Remember Candace Cameron saying this is the deep web.

And, even if someone publishes a real experience, society now is so cynical and paranoid that people's own bias will make them believe absolutely that is not real.

I've always thought that most people think that the edgy forbidden place is reddit, not here.
I had a coworker who freaked after he found out I went on 4chan, he thought it was some hacker site that would hack your computer if you went there
I had to talk him down and explain we just argue about robot cartoons, at least in our neck of the woods

my current gig actively has the farms whitelisted at the corporate level
somebody in the loop not only knows about the farms but has turned off the auto-detect for NSFW content
I found this out because there's a music show I listen to, was grabbing it as I headed out to hear on the way home, one week in "wacky movie posters" it was Ilsa She Wolf Of The SS and BOOM instantly blocked forever by the robot
I go by articles and hitlerings, the grady judd thread, lots of places.
don't think I've pushed it to some thot thread like momo but yeah not a peep about hitting the farms on the company machine

They may have heard of KiwiFarms when Marjorie Taylor Greene falsely claimed the site was responsible for her home being swatted years ago. But probably forgot not long after given their short-term memory.

I've seen 8 different people call it boomercoded before I even returned to this thread. We live in a post District 9, post Colony, post Falling Skies culture and Spielberg still managed to only make this and act like he was delivering something meaningful.

The only good thing about movies this level of mid is getting with friends and asking "what would you do?". Here are some ideas since @Kari Kamiya idea of pilgrimage alone would make for a better story, not in any particular order. You can choose to believe if I'm DISCLOSING anything.

  • Why are only Christians the ones that question their faith instead of all Abrahamic religions? You could've it that Kabbalah practitioners and even people like Jacobo Grinberg knew or deduced ayylmaos existed and this entered Jewish orthodoxy or intellectual circles since whenever you feel like it. Maybe even some sects claim descent from the ayylmaos.
  • Maybe there's a schism about the ayylmaos being the nephillim or messengers meant to usher a new age of discovery. Go quasi-Childhood's End and have the ayylmaos conquer Earth slowly through assimilation. Maybe a technology they have fundamentally makes people believe them to be evil, like immortality ushering the idea that only through death humanity is truly human.
  • Capitalize on the WW3 angle, by having Jewish scholars or even Israel itself disclose or force the disclosure to try and de-escalate the conflict. This backfires and the world is about to enter a sociopolitical and spiritual tilt of axis about the role ayylmaos play on faith. Perhaps religions evolve into philosophies and the biggest player becomes Buddhism.
  • Alternatively, you could've everyone shrug the existence of ayylmaos because the WW3 tier scenario is that much more urgent. The victors get to negotiate whatever the ayylmaos have in store for humanity.
  • Maybe the ayylmaos set WW3 up. You can choose here if they do it because they want humanity to destroy itself or because this conflict plays a role in a chain of events that makes humanity evolve.

A little subversion of the aliens having religious proclivities towards Earth. The reason ayylmao existence hasn't been disclosed is that no one has been able to communicate or even reach them. Pay special attention to this part. It will be in the test if WW3 happens.

  • Imagine an intelligent but not sapient species or group of species that don't arrive here nearly as much as they existed in a different plane of our space. They can shoot a gun, pilot a ship and do all sorts of alien stuff but they aren't smarter or more advanced than us, just mere automatons. They simply found better tech laying on the floor and picked it with them on what to us may look a fanatical holy war against life. Think of them as barely a Type I in the Kardashev scale with Dyson architecture.
  • They seemingly can't interact with us outside of random incidents of kidnapping and defiling. Humanity has tried to reach out but they either can't or don't want to talk to us so we let them be. One day when humanity has its pants down, our invaders stop being autistic and decide to leak into our plane of existence.
  • What looks to us as ships are more like portals that power everything they have and even themselves. Functioning on zero point energy or even dimensional resonance and spacetime defects. They resemble grey aliens to us because they flay and wear the skins of their human victims. They seem faster and stronger than us, even intangible which could be due to phase shift, time dilation or even hard light constructs. Resistance is futile.
  • They hunt us down over 72 miserable years in which they turn us into hardware livestock and dim the sun, answering riveting questions like how little of a human is needed to still technically be alive? and defiling the very concept of the afterlife by endlessly bringing you back to life. Tyranids, Apostles, Reapers, the Xeelee cosplaying bastards making humanity go through crude recreations of world ending myths while using still conscious sacks of meat as fuel or computer parts. Then someone or something comes and kicks their ass until about a couple thousand humans are left on a dying world hiding from whatever the horde left behind. Their tech is unusable to us.
You may have read or heard the story I just summarized. This is my autism speaking but there's nothing more dangerous than an unfinished story so based on the explanations I tried to give as to how these ayylmaos tick, here's some counter other than water or a virus:
  • Nootropic patterns, emotional control and knowledge preservation. These things use fear as an anchor.
  • Signature dampening and bone conducting gear.
  • Sonic and noise warfare. 60-100 Hz, 300-500 Hzs with any wind instrument made to sound scary.
  • Thermal shock and explosive bolts.
  • Sacred geometry, obsidian mirrors and sun spectrum tools.
  • Resin and incense.
  • Ferromagnetic metals.
  • EM stabilizers and detectors. Gotta attack coherence.
  • Entropy filters.

Última edición:
These are all good ideas but it all boils down to Spielberg having the basic Jewish antipathy toward Christianity and also being an out of touch boomer who thinks the existence of aliens would shake anyone at this point after multiple generations of films about alien contact, encounters and invasions (multiple of which are his own films).

Since Disclosure Day was mid, I'm gonna list some lesser-known UFO/ayy abduction movies I've watched recently that I thought were cool. No particular order either. Just weird neat things I liked well enough. Most of these aren't 10/10s, but they're still neat enough that I felt like sharing. I'm trying to list shit I don't think people have seen.

Devil's Gate: A farmer's wife and son gets abducted by aliens and he captures a grey and tortures it. The FBI comes looking for the missing family members and things to to hell. Kinda mid-budget. Has a good cast. Milo Ventimiglia is really good as the farmer. Also has Jonathan Frakes as the town sheriff.

Holes in the Sky: Super low budget documentary style thing. Has some absolutely bad CGI at the end, but it's a fun enough ride for something that was made on just a couple thousand dollars

Altered: A bunch of rednecks abduct a grey and torment him. Very cool, has some really nice creature effects.

Man VS: Bear Grylls versus an alien. Ending is maybe a bit too grand in scale for what it is, but I still dug it.

Intruders: An early 90s miniseries based on the book of the same name. Ending is too saccharine compared to how good the rest of it is. One scene with a little hybrid kid was really spooky for made for TV.

The Block Island Sound: Really impressed me here. Good build up. Went in some surprising directions. Not afraid to do some pretty awful stuff.

Area 51: The Blumhouse one, since there's a zillion movies with the same title. My expectations were incredibly low, but it started off with cameos from George Knapp and a couple other ufologists. So, that kinda endeared me.

The Wicksboro Incident: Late 90s found footage thing. Really atmospheric at the start. A little light on actual ayy action, but it's kind of impressive how much shit they wrangled for this one.

Pod: Travis Bickle locks a grey in his basement and his siblings try to calm him down.

Almost Human: Guy gets abducted by aliens, gets dumped back on Earth a few years later, but he's some kind of monster now. Like a less weird version of Xtro, but I liked it.

https://youtube.com/watch?v=Ud5VSy4hZhwThe UFO Incident
Betty and Barney Hill docudrama starring James Earl Jones
JEJ stares into the camera and acts creepy for much of the hour and a half and it's pretty great.
That's a good one too. Having so much of the dialogue be almost 1:1 from the recordings of their therapy sessions was cool.

I'd also like to shill the TV series Dark Skies. Which was like a period piece alien conspiracy thing. Super high budget for the time, since they used some of the same digital compositing technology that was developed for Forrest Gump to insert characters into old photos and videos. Genuinely really good. Also has Art Bell guest starring as the founder of CBS in one episode.
