Honestly, the reaction I’ve seen the most is people saying it’s pretty cool to see Marvel vs DC again
Are there even that many big Marvel vs. DC matchups that Death Battle hasn't done yet? The most I can think of are Batman villain and Spider-Man villain matchups like Catwoman vs Black Cat, Killer Croc vs. The Lizard, and Scarecrow vs. Mysterio.

Bullseye vs deadshot? Moon knight vs Batman? Sandman vs clayface (oh wait that's another villain batman and spider man villain match...). I'm struggling to think anything that would be hugely requested right now.

You would think Superman would've fought at least one person from Marvel at this point (sentry, hulk, thor, witch, idk) but in 15-ish years of death battle, Superman has only ever fought Goku 3 times.

Amateur Nintendo vs SEGA sprite battles were cringe-kino.

Supergirl vs She-Hulk would have fair synergy about now
I don't think a show where child characters have fought to the death should give moral puritan lessons, but AM is generally not suited for combat.

...Do you realize what AM was built to do? and did?

AM technically couldn't even coexist in a universe with ultron given that AM's entire hangup and reason for why he's the way he is. AM would have smothered ultron in the crib given how he literally absorbed the other massive war computers into himself. The reason given for him not being in is retarded, literally just point out "he can't do a normal death battle because he doesn't have a normal body like ultron does"

Amateur Nintendo vs SEGA sprite battles were cringe-kino.
This reminds me of these old youtube v-oh god 18 years ago

Última edición:
I'm also surprised that they still haven't done Goku vs. Sonic. They've done three other DBZ/Sonic matchups but not the most obvious one.

Feels like death battle hyping Superman as "no limits man" has doomed them from putting him in a serious battle again, which in turn doomed Goku to be stuck with Superman.

What do you guys think of the dumb trend in twitter where powerscalers tried to convice people it was important in writing?

I didn't see that but i assume it's response to Invincible wacky ass inconsistencies and Mark jobbing to every new villain of the week. Like everything with twitter, people strawman the fuck out of each other so it has no value.

I never seen anyone sane ever say "Powerscaling doesn't matter at all", people agree that belivability is important but it's not it's not worth being autistically pedantic over powerlevels and disregard every other thing on the story like battleboarders usually do. Or even when they are aware of the point, they circle back to arguing it's actually about powerscaling somehow.

If you described David vs Goliath to a powerscaler, they would say Goliath stomps due to stat advantage, feats, armor, battle IQ, etc. If you said David wins, they would either

1-Call it bad writing and plot armor
2-Call Goliath a "fraud"
3-Backtrack and say David's sling is equivalent to a gun and counts as "hax", and the message is that battle IQ > strenght, thus it's powerscaling

Reminder that versus battle wikia believes Chicken Little (you know, that one from that disney movie) is stronger than Goku.

It was something like a Star Wars dude saying that accurate Powerscaling is something that you need to consider in every kind of story... yes even drama shows or something. People used stuff like Aesop Fables to argue against that, saying themes are far more important than actual raw abilities in telling a story.

Apparently people started arguing aesop fables were about powerscaling and twitter did it's thing

>Kratos and Asura trade blows, destroying infinite + infinite bazillion of omniverses with their boundless power
>Asura eventually manages to defeat Kratos due to better growth
>"You're finished, God of War! Quit while you're ahead!"
>Seeing no other way to win this, Kratos decides to use a secret, ancient spell he stole from Odin's body
>He logs onto Blacked.com on his cellphone
>"B-BAKANA. . . THE OUTERVERSAL-TIER BBC HYPNOSIS TECHNIQUE!?!?!" Asura's fear reverberates across boundless infinity, unintentionally bowing before the superior Western pornography
>Kratos hypnotizes himself into being a good goyim for Odin, transforming into God of Cuckoldry Kratos (the transformation is actually cool, nothing like those immature japanese cartoons)
>Asura is obliterated from existence after he refuses to satisfy Kratos' wife alongside an infinite amount of black men
>"Hmph....your anger....your chudness....it has defeated you, Asura."
>KO!!!!!

I get that the Death Battle staff loves NTR porn very much, but don't you guys think that this outcome was a little weird?
