I am convinced a substantial amount of the attack is because of Indian predators livid they're being exposed.

You see CHUD, kiwifarms isn't pedophile friendly enough and this is problematic. Such obvious display of transphobia must end and it's not acceptable in the nu-internet

This is probably a stupid idea, but how difficult would it be to vibecode an application that is basically a fancy tor wrapper for normies? People download the app, run it and are connected to the farms.

I was able to rig up my firefox so that it automatically uses the tor socks proxy when I visit an onion url, and the same technique works with i2p. obviously I am running tor and i2pd daemons already lol. it has some initial setup but after that it's completely seamless. I don't need to open a "special" type of browser window or tab, it just does what it's supposed to do by itself like I'm visiting any other type of website.

I did this with two different firefox plugins, foxyproxy and containerise, plus some about:config changes, and I have two other pieces of software that always need to run in the background. MAYBE the firefox portion of the setup can be packaged as a single extension. but honestly the most noob friendly way of getting on tor is still just download brave or the official tor browser. it's not that fucking hard.

I meant to reply to this last night but unlike the tranny pedo gooners (but I repeat myself) I was busy having a real life.

It's easy to forget, but things have almost never not been this way. You have to remember, the Internet quite literally began as a glowop. It was not designed to bless every person in the world with free and instant access to all of mankind's collective knowledge, it was built by DARPA to let military contractors communicate with each other. For decades it was prohibitively expensive and too technically challenging for the average person to use. For maybe a decade, between the launch of AOL and the launch of the iPhone, it was both accessible and useful, due in large part to companies pumping ungodly amounts of money into it -- not out of good will, but out of a panicked desire to buy into a bubble they did not understand and had no real plan on how to realize a profit from. There was barely one decade where the Internet was the wild west for most people, one decade during which it was a massive boon for mankind. It has all been downhill since, with corporations and governments playing catch-up to lock it down. The Internet as we knew it was an anomoly, propped up by the blitz scaling of silicon valley retards who hadn't figured out how to fuck it up yet. It was unsustainable at best, and a threat to the establishment at worst. It was never going to last forever.

The bright side of that is that news and knowledge and truth have been spreading by word of mouth for eons longer than the Internet ever existed, and will continue to. People have been saying nigger and faggot and tranny and kike for longer than the Internet ever existed. People have been talking about the Gulf of Tonkin and Operation Northwoods and the Lavon Affair and the USS Liberty for longer than the Internet ever existed. These things do not go away. The truth does not go away. If anything, moving it off of proprietary communications platforms on proprietary communications devices on proprietary communications infrastructure is a step towards freedom, assuming people are brave enough to do so. I am. I say nigger and faggot and tranny and kike in real life, I talk about the Gulf of Tonkin and Opetation Northwoods and the Lavon Affair and the USS Liberty in real life, as everyone should. I also do it online, as long as I'm able to, but one is not a substitute for the other.

Sometimes you get a bad circuit on tor if you click the little symbol that looks like a sine wave in the left of the address bar and click new tor circuit it gives you a new route. Tor's been pretty fast lately with a good circuit.

When we got sent tor for months the first time it was slow regardless of route, whatever Null did to the tir site afterwards made Tor very stable and nice. It doesn't feel like a lag to update media on threads on Tor at all anymore. If we get stuck here a few hours a night then that's no problem and may help people learn better security as more and more of the internet gets more picky about its user base and posting.

According to Matthew Prince, exposing KF to DDOS attack is needed to save human lives.

EDIT: I'm not joking. He literally said that's why he was removing protections against cybercrime.
 
What's stopping Cloudflare from getting away with running a hypothetical "protection racket" where they use their server capacity to ddos attack any site that does not use their ddos protection, or ddosing any competitor and running them out of business?

We've had antivirus companies sabotage the virus definitions of other antivirus companies in the past, and this is something where if Cloudflare could get away with it they would definitely do so.

Granted it's probably just a botnet of buttplugs and other wifi connected things, but the sheer amount of bandwith is questionable. I don't think there's much stopping a secretive subdivision of Cloudflare that serves to build botnets and target any site that doesn't use cloudflare. Though I would expect to see zero pattern to the attacks in that case.
