The best part about this is that if he had just stayed on Twitch he would probably have a much bigger audience since he would've "gotten in" sooner. However, it might've been a blessing in disguise since his masturbation happened on YT, and Twitch probably would've banned him over it. Ignoring that, he stopped streaming on Twitch over resolution/bitrate pettiness, shit he couldn't give a rat's ass about today.

To be fair unless I’m missing some new massive money drops those guys are just more aggressive paypigs. They keep the revenue steady, but they aren’t a real whale that’s gonna give him a massive spike in money.
Think of when swagginz first showed up, or tut and emerald 7. From the looks of it he’s either drove off his real deep deep pocket whales, or they are really picking their moment cause they have not shown up in quite some time, even during his big begging marathons a few months back.

I'm autistic so I'm biased, but I'd be very surprised if Phil was autistic.
Mainly, he's too skilled socially. He's great at manipulating others with his words.
Also, every autistic person I've known, including myself, has strong awareness of themselves. We may struggle understanding it, but we're aware. Whereas Phil has sub-zero self-awareness.

Sorry for double-posting but everybody is shitting on me instead of posting lmao. Just saw this on DSP's Twitter, he has me blocked so I couldn't point out the irony that DSP does the same stuff to get interest for his streams (games he's known for/games he knows he will rage at/new hyped games etc). Zero self-awareness.

It's not attention grabbing enough on it's own to have made any recent detractor bitesize clips on twitter but when addressing a cheer about having to pay backtaxes (and getting irate over it obviously) yesterday, Phil said if he had known he was going to incur a bunch of additional fees on top he would have saved money instead of spending it all on "other things". Like I say not too attention grabbing but it's these little mid-flow fractures that always expose the manner in which he arranges his deceit.
If you consider the way he'll prostrate himself before the crowd and harp on about being able to afford jack and shit, spin a tale of woe that every penny goes straight to bills then clearly these "other things" are in reference to something other than bills. This was throughout an exasperated segment where he acknowledges that no mattah wut he do he can't catch a break and there's always some other evil entity lurking behind him after his rainy day pissing money. By his own crooked yardstick he should have built himself an ark and loaded on the animals to save them and spare Katherine the animal lover's feelings. Instead he'd blow his last $30 on a trip to the CT zoo to see the animals before he and they both die in the flood. Nothing he could do.
Knows things keep going wrong and should save money + never actually saves any money = I don't think you should get any 20 Year Legacy shirts ready ahead of time on teespring just yet, phil. The twisted element is I really think he's content to just keep on anticipating the cash to roll on forever and while he hasn't seen any reason to expect an alternative, that he believes he's earned the right to have that chat continue to wipe his ass for the rest of life is disgusting.

Yeah, I caught that, too, but just never said anything about it, but I think you sum up his approach to money perfectly in that he'll just spend whatever he has instead of putting anything away.
Last time I can recall him getting sick was at the end of December, but there might've been another time. I think what this thing with the hotel might've been was someone else talking about a hotel and Dave weaving it into his spiel about "no loads" (what a fucking bland term to unnecessarily invent, christ), but all the clips that have it have what he was responding to cut out (because most detractor vid creators are actually 77 IQ and don't understand context at all, sadly).
Easiest way to figure it out is if someone actually has contact with someone who records his entire stream for their clips and see what the context was, but that's more effort than I care to invest.

Yeah, it's easy to forget sometimes that Phil has had years and years to find what works to get money out of his fans. He's not some savant snake oil dealer who can charm the pants off of somebody he just met. He "manipulates" through attrition and pity. He knows the keywords that have made him the most profit: taxes, depression, behind-the-scenes, mah house, EMERGENCY. The fiftieth time you come to a stream and hes's moping about the same old shit, you throw him 5 bucks to cheer him up for a while.
Phil's that homeless guy you see on the street once and you ignore because come on dude, get it together. Then you see him every. single. day. and eventually he looks so ragged and desperate that you spot him a dinner. You're one of hundreds he's duped. He's still there the next day though. You still feel bad. You ask where that dinner money went. He tells you to fuck off, shaves, and moves to a different street. That's basically the life of a DSP whale.
