Watching my first 'pre-stream' in a while, he's mentioned 'the business' 3 or 4 times in the last minute

He said in a prestream after getting a question from a BICHEER that it's not an actual business he just calls it that as its the way he makes money. So wrap that concept around your head. Apparently if you work as a cashier at Target, you own a business.

This Twitchcon thing is going to be hilarious. Fucking it up by directly interfering with it like that isn't funny. It's like the Laveria thing -- I admit it was funny how he tried to backpedal and insult his way out of placing his future on a nearly non-existent MCN like that, but it would've been funnier if those SoK faggots didn't interfere and just let things play out. Funny, I'm not seeing him listed as a Featured Partner on Twitchcon's schedule.
I'm not seeing anything from the show saying there's an event with a live audience there that's about the extensions. So I have a feeling this "hand picked" thing is now almost confirmed to be nothing more than something searchable on Twitch of channels that have this new extension enabled

But that leads to the question. Why lie about being "hand picked by twitch" and a "partnership with twitch" and being featured on the main stage with people in an audience watching him play? He should know that there's no "contract" that he has to sign if everyone's a part of this. And he should know that there's no "contact person" at twitch giving him some huge packet of info about this event like he's claimed.

Its just an API link that he enables on Sunday to be a part of this game that has in game decisions made by the audience.

This might be fun. If the game's directions are made by the audience...... the laughs may be worth it.

I'm surprised he hasn't done EMERGENCY GUYZ videos in a while, then again he does his begging on prestream nowadays.

He can't really blame detractors this time though. He will blame titty streamers and whoever is flavour of the month. His fans will eat it up though. He NEVER blames himself.

It puts him high on the list among those that plays the game, makes it look like he is popular so more people will come and watch.

A viewbot that generates about 500 viewers for an hour costs about 8 bucks according to some of the viewbot providers that I searched in Google. Have those viewbots "interact" with chat and the cost goes up to about 50 bucks (interaction costs money). You have to program the "chat bot" as well so it doesnt get immediately banned by Twitch and so it doesnt immediately stand out like a sore thumb for commenting "oooh that's scary" on a stream about Spyro or say "this game is so amazing" during his prestream

The purpose of viewbots normally is to jack your channel views up so you get more "actual" viewers coming into your stream, and so you get partnered. Small streamers who want to stream League or ultra popular games get lost in the shuffle, and many are impatient to "make muh career" so they see viewbots as a way to kickstart their career, which unfortunately doesnt work when the viewbots go away and they didnt pay their dues the hard way by hard work and self improvement and all they're left with is a net 10 follower increase for about a hundred dollars invested in the viewbots.

They're never worth it. People believe that they are because they are focused only on the views. And the sheep trying to "help" Phil with viewbots are only causing more unwanted attention to Phil's stream and could cause the person who bought the bot to wind up banned from Twitch (if the IP matches as the owner of the bot. People who bot invariably get caught)

To seem more active and popular than he really is so he can sucker in unsuspecting viewers. Though most viewers watch him for a minute, realize how shit he is with the begging, bad commentary, bad gameplay and snorting, then tune out and go watch a better streamer.

His stream chat is like his forum -- full of tumbleweeds and populated by maybe 15-20 people. Like someone else said a few pages ago, a stream that has 300 or more actual people in it will have a stream chat that flies by. His totally legitimate 1500 view stream probably has a chat that is barely moving.
