I just find the fact that Phil considered his younger self to be "really ripped and in shape" when he clearly was a fat, cheeto dusted shut in seems to show he is pretty insecure about himself. I wonder why this was not pressed more, and it makes me curious about his lack of physical exercise in his life. This may be 
but I really wonder if Phil knows how to do basic stuff like riding a bike or swimming. I am sure in Phil's mind he was Conneticut's answer to Lance Armstrong and Michael Phelps, but I am sure the reality is much funnier and sad. I can only imagine Phil trying to bench press and blowing out his rotator cuff, so I really hope someone can eventually squeeze out more details of his youthful days spent "being in shape".

Phil probably played indoor soccer or some shit for like 3 weeks in his late teens or early 20s and although in reality he was still fat and only running for like an hour a week he's like "man I was in the best shape of my life!"

In his... defense? I think there must be an explanation for that. DSP is someone that 'always tells the truth'... his own twisted version of the truth anyways, maybe at one time he started lifting weights and someone, being kind, told him 'Wow Phil you're developing muscle.' and he took it as 'WOW PHIL DAWG MY MAN YOU ARE FUCKING RIPPED, ARE YOU DOING 'ROIDS? YOU MUST BE'. I mean, it's not too unbelievable, when you begin lifting weights you are bound to get some muscle thanks to noob gains.
...but he probably didn't do that 'without moderation', what few photos from his skinny days surfaced show a very skinny, definitely not muscular, guy and he hasn't retained any muscle. At all.

As someone who plays fives every week despite being a fat bastard I'm gonna debunk this theory. Unless you sit in the goals being keeper, you're moving non stop both defending and attacking. Phil would struggle hugely, even his young fgc days physique. Very physically demanding which is why it's a great workout for any age

You know, I wonder if he has a lot of fans who have English as their second language because his weird syntax and grammatical choices just don't sound weird to them? That, plus his commentary is so grade school level and repetitive that it wouldn't require much mental energy to understand him if you didn't speak English very well.

Yeah, Sone of the earlier sieges are easy, but once you get to 5,6 etc. he’s gonna have a hard time, even with legendary orcs.

I highly doubt he played futsal. That is a demanding, fast-paced game played. It asks fast-twitching skills, strength, endurance, and speed. Phil has speed, he rubbed one out in less than 90 seconds, but his endurance and strength is very low.

Is there any video of EVO 2005 ? There must be if people were able to record the Daigo Parry the year before. I want to see if he was actually worth a shit in SF2T, even considering the bad port.

(speaking as someone who doesn't really follow da fighting games)
I've seen a few videos (not sure about EVO 2005 specifically) but from what I can tell DSP was decent/good/above average or whatever. He still copped a shitty attitude and acted immature which you can hear in some of those tournament videos. I'm pretty sure the EVO site or one of them has videos of almost every single tournament going.
Is he any good at any of the recent fighting games? No, not really. Now he's playing on the internet, so his previous shitty attitude is magnified 6000 percent and involves blaming lag and da 'cheap tactics' meaning that every time he calls another player unskilled everyone just asks how come he can't win.
He won't play SFV because he says its shit, but he'll play SF2 on Switch day after day while saying its shit. He won't probably ever go to another IRL tournament and he won't try other fighting games or work in any way to try and learn new skills/games (same goes for his cooking seeing as basically the only thing he'll cook is authentic pasta sauce).
So from all I've seen of comments and videos etc, yes, at one stage (12+ years ago) DSP was above average/fairly good at Street Fighter. But today, he certainly doesn't have the skills required to better himself at that game or any other. His skills, even if they still exist, are in a fighting game from decades ago played in person and not over an internet connection.
Today's stream breakdown:
- It's friday 13th so Phil is making a huge deal about it
- Says last night at 9PM at his time he played about 2 hours for premiere night stream and that people seemed to enjoy it
- He's received a bunch of requests/tips about the weinstein saga
- Phil used to word "variate" incorrectly from what I know of it: "It's going to variate between open world and..."
- Says in the past 12 hours none of his Evil Within 2 videos have been demonitized so far which is "good news" because he was worried about.
- Says a video which doesn't get struck as being advertiser unfriendly will typically make $1.50 to $2.00 per thousand views
- Says an advertiser unfriendly video will get around $0.50 per thousand views (and he's heard as low as $0.05)
- Goes on about how the first few days is when he'll get the most views
- Says his Yakuza videos don't get many views early on, but later on the views grow a huge amount and tries to explain it
- Says he's indecisive about what game he's going to play on the weekend. Of course goes into the most boring amount of detail about his streaming schedule.
- Asks what he should play as if its a question to the viewers, then says its a dilemma that he's facing
- Says he's already 60 videos into Shadow of War
- He's nervous about not playing Shadow of War enough that people stop watching his exciting stream play of the game
- "It's a tough situation, it's a really tough situation"
- Talking about South Park and how its the game he's probably most excited to actually play in this "hardcore gaming season"
- Has 339 viewers about 24 minutes into stream.
- Goes on about how one of the games he's currently playing and how one is gonna have to sit on da backburner because of the amount of games coming at.
- Says he has no updates and mentions people asking him about the "lingering thing" and states that he doesn't have an update.
- Doesn't have an update about his special Twitch collab stream
- Someone said in stream that he shouldn't stop putting vids on YouTube, he responded and said that he's not going to stop it
- He said YouTube pretty much fell apart this year for people, says they don't listen to content creators and bla bla bla
- "keep uploading videos no matter what"
- Says even if he stopped making money from YouTube he'd probably never stop uploading
- Says YouTube makes a big chunk of his money. "A little less than half"
- Eventually he says he'd like to be totally free of YouTube screwing him over
- Goes on about Patreon goal (PUBG marathon)
- Complains about his PC issues and how he's going to "cave" because people keep asking for it
- Says he's got a lot of games bla bla and might have to juggle his totally packed schedule
- "of which we're about $250 dollars under, FYI"
- Explains yet again about his PC and auto archiving and some shit about playing video games on his PC
- Says he has to go get the costume in a week or two otherwise the costume "won't exist anymore" because Halloween coming up
- Plugs teeshit
- Lots of boring ass talk about Jimmy Kimmel/Boogie and all the YouTube bullshit going on
- He's drinking some V8 energy drink today which someone asked about in da tips and cheers segment
- He's answering about weinerstein
- "Hollywood is a fucked up place"
- Calls producers fat walruses
- Goes on about "da climate" and "da power" and "da taking advantage" (of pandalee)
- He's already going on 40 minutes since stream started
- He kept talking shit on weinerstein and the situation and people in chat were reacting:
- (Lester obviously got banned for that)
- Answered some question about some movie that involves crossdressing or some shit, and said he didn't like Mrs. Doubtfire (in his own true and honest opinion)
- "Imagine if Mrs. Doubtfire had like 14 sequels!!!" (kinda like every video Phil releases lol)
- Said some shit about not answering certain questions and that they should ask them on Ask the King:
- Going on about games and YouTube and lootcrates again and says "Again, we live in an immature world".
- Chat reacts to Phil talking about da lootboxes for the 20th time:
- He's still going on about da lootboxes and da youtubers being greedy for da money:
- Got a cheer saying "I thought you said you weren't running a business". He goes on to state that he doesn't run a legally registered business.
- Got a troll cheer and said thanks for the 10 bits (lol an entire 10 cents phil)
- Going on 50 minutes since scheduled stream start and still no gameplay and plenty of people asking Phil to start the fucking game
- Keeps going on about immature idiots and lootboxes.
- Says he's going to start da game (50 minutes in):
- Someone in stream chat said Phil supports loot boxes and Phil goes on a huge rant about how the person is stupid and how he just denounced loot boxes like 10 times (?)
- Chat points out that it was obvious bait
- Phil: "I know it was probably bait!"
- PS Online menu starts at about 51 minutes in
- Phil says "I know people are going to ask about my shirt today", then shows his shirt which has Mario/Deadpool/some shit. Unclear if he's ever worn this shirt before or if he bought it recently, says "its just a shirt I have"
- Phil actually gets into game at 53 minutes since the scheduled start of the stream
- Dat concludes da prestream breakdown and I have no plans on watching him play the game at any length.
