Yeah, Minecraft. What new is there to add? Minecraft is only as good as your imagination allows. Most parts of MC are tedious as you have to build - which takes a long time - but also search for ressources - which takes a long time. He has no understanding of old mechanics, he won't even understand or even REACH the new blocks and mechanics. MC takes a lot of time in general, which is suboptimal for a marathon. It's in the name. "Marathon".
But not only Minecraft AGAIN, but also I Wanna Be The Guy, he played it in the recent Rage-a-Thon.
Because it was sooo funny the first time. Hint: It was not, it was painful and slow.
Stardew Valley? Also not the first time. November 2016 Indies Marathon also the Twitch & Shill stream from January 2017. Sure, the game got some additional features (new and bigger farms) but most of the rest stays the same, the stream will be nothing new, there is no excitement, it's a slow game (but at least a good one).

Slow clap. Half of the games are nothing new and painfully slow. Great extension of your horizon, variety streamer, just do the exact same thing like 2 years before. Why even allow these games in your poll?

Sonic Dreams Collection, I dunno. Sounds like I can predict his commentary. "Ohmagad! What's going on? Uuuuuh. I have no idea what's happening. Boob-jokes, sex-jokes, bad jokes, jokes which make no sense at all, dahahahahagoat, ackackack, more fake laughs (because these are his most used vocals these days). Other noises. Okay then.". Applicable to every other game in this list, of course. I expect no fun at all, but the cringe of a sad clown. But at least it fits into the 1 hour schedule. Then he can call himself the King of Meme as he played a meme game.

I have no opinions on Axiom Verge and Ruiner Winkler.

Exactly what I was thinking. He doesn’t understand that part of the fandom, and he’s gonna be really weirded out. We’re gonna hear a lot of, “I have no idea what I’m doing, I don’t know what that means.”

Or he ends up liking it because of the weird fetish shit and we end up learning another side of Davey boy.
 
Dave ranted on prestream about people shilling for devs again, says he is always honest and true to himself, but other streamers are not. Then he walks it back and says he has heard other streamers are not and that he doesn't know because he doesn't watch their content. I guess that covers his ass? "I didn't say you were a shill, I said I heard you were a shill. I personally have no idea." I'm glad we found a semantic way to continue the rants instead of having to cut them out entirely.

I also had a revelation. Phil's hissy laugh is Ernie's from Sesame Street.
He is definitely not a muppet though.
