He's to stupid to realize you can't just throw money at card packs irl and get a guaranteed 7 star platinum hogan if your luck has been total ass and you haven't gotten one in the previous hundred or so attempts.

The funny thing is, he's got fancy finance degree. Statistics are a core part of that because its one of the main things used in financial modeling and risk assessment. So he should know a ton of things about odds and probability and the like, but he doesn't, He's one of those people that see odds of 1:100 and think "Hey, I just need to do X 100 times and I'm guaranteed to get a winner" and then will whine about broken math mechanics when he's on his 200th X without getting the win. He could do X every second of every day for the rest of his life and never get the win.

Then again, most people seem to think the same way and it makes me sad.
