007 First Light is on thin ice. DSP's ready to wagequit the game, and he's constantly complaining about it being boring, and him expecting it to be exciting after playing it for - in his eyes - so many hours.

But...

I counted the amount of time he has spent on gameplay so far, which is about 6.5 hours. But when I look up no-commentary full playthroughs, they're around 4 hours into the game at the point where DSP is right now. So that means he has wasted over 2.5 hours (by being bad at the game, stalling, reading dono's, complaining, ranting etc.).

But of course, he did nothing wrong. Nothing he could do.

So… all this theatrics just to avoid that ass scene?

The funny thing is, he's got fancy finance degree. Statistics are a core part of that because its one of the main things used in financial modeling and risk assessment. So he should know a ton of things about odds and probability and the like, but he doesn't, He's one of those people that see odds of 1:100 and think "Hey, I just need to do X 100 times and I'm guaranteed to get a winner" and then will whine about broken math mechanics when he's on his 200th X without getting the win. He could do X every second of every day for the rest of his life and never get the win.

Then again, most people seem to think the same way and it makes me sad.

Thinking about it, Phail needs to be gaslit into trying as many nerdy hobbies as possible. He somehow manages to do the dumbest, most unbelievable shit when doing them. We've seen how it took him multiple streams to build the most fucking basic of Lego sets. His Pokemon booster pack openings has him bend the shit out of his cards, losing his shit and marking out over cards that are worth less than the average meal at a fast food place, not even knowing what the cards do in the actual card game, not even recognizing most of the Pokemon, and putting every single card he gets into sleeves and then putting them into binders, even if the fucking card is worth less than the cardboard it's printed on and the plastic sleeve it's put in.

I can just imagine the unintentional kino khantent if he ever tried painting some Space Marines, or putting together a model of the T-34 tank or the HMS Victory. Or imagine if he got into flying drones. Or playing pen and paper RPGs.

This would be guaranteed great detractor content but I don’t think it would ever happen.

He will never admit it outright, but Phil does have some extremely limited understanding of how dumb a motherfucker he is. It’s why he clings to “default” or “developer intended” difficulties. It’s why we got streams building the desk but no stream for building the workout machine, he thought he was smarter than required to build the desk found out he was wrong and didn’t want to be embarrassed building the more complex workout machine.

Lego & pack openings at first glance make it seem he’s trying to branch out with what he uses to drain the dent wallets, but they are as with everything he does level 1 content options that he still gets clowned on.

Even basic building & painting of models requires more skill, effort and creativity than Phil can muster up to complete and I think he knows that.

Edit - Just imagine Phil trying to operate superglue with a model. He can’t even operate a bottle of water without blaming the manufacturer.

For anyone who has ever interacted with a trading card game, it's just something you don't do. Binders and sleeves are for the value/tradebait cards to safely display. The cards you have dozens of from every box are either put into bulk storage cases like a cardboard box or, especially with something as ubiquitous as energy cards, thrown away as useless.
