Thanks for the in-depth answer. I didn't realize he beat JWong in the actual game, that's impressive. I also didn't know that SF2 was 11 years old in that tournament, I thought it was relatively new because of the port.

In a way, this actually leaves me with more questions, because DSP doesn't strike me as the kind of person that would be capable of improving at any task regardless of how much time he put into it.

One thing I've started to realize about Phil is that he's never really lied because he has to but rather he actually derives extreme pleasure from lying and being a faggot to other people.
It would explain why he can't have any normal relationships. He even had to cheat his own parents.

I am curious whether or not he knows, even just subconsciously if he's a giant piece of shit, but I'm pretty sure he must know to some extent but just gets so much pleasure out of it (much like Foodie Beauty gets out of eating fast food).

In much the same way, Phil's "socialized" view of homosexuality is that it's something to look down upon, like a nerd wearing glasses. It's a blow to even the most masculine presenting man's masculinity if he is a homosexual. Believing himself the epitome of manhood, Phil's autistic mind and narcissistic ego examines this and concludes, obviously, that cannot be a homosexual. He is masculine and manly, a man's man, with a deep voice that you can hear the bass in and rippling muscles (not moobs). Subconsciously, however, and on a physiological level I believe Phil is gay. He would never admit this because, consciously, he believes himself to be straight. But examine almost any of Phil's mannerisms, topics of discussion, or behavior and it's clear to see that he was born gay, although he is too autistic to understand that.

You both touched on something that's an underlying thing with Phil too... his world view is that of a boomer trying to cope with the world changing in the 90s/00s. He's the only person under 70 I've ever heard say "Oriental" and not be talking about rugs. His views on therapy is that of decades earlier where admitting you're fucked is a weakness. Autistic people have to be borderline non-verbal and nothing else. I'm sure he views divorce as a sin. All sorts of fucked up views that are just parroting what he's heard at home, but he's too simple to evolve past those and form his own.

Actually... all of his world views are other people's views. That's why pinning something on him is so hard, because he gives off the vibe of believing in nothing.

Well, I predicted the GOING NUCLEAR stream last week would be a big ole burger of nothin' and I was partially wrong. He did have truly nothing of value to say or show us, but the 'it was all a ruse!' stream afterward almost made up for it. I guess it's the result you get when you think you're the smartest person on earth while also being a massive retard: you end up with these embarrassingly transparent, public attempts at manipulation and still walk away thinking you pulled the wool over everybody's eyes. The hypothesis he claims to have been testing with his 'social experiment' seemed to be 'if I talk shit about people, it will result in people responding to it'. To be fair, the nuclear stream itself had some nuggets of amusement in them as well. Like when Phil spends like an hour concern trolling Wings and talking about how his viewers are enabling the 'bad things' he does by donating to him. Aside from showcasing his amazingly limited vocabulary, Phil also completely forgets his 'I get to decide what I do with my money' speeches he was giving during the Casino buff. The same period he was often proclaiming how it's okay that he spends money on his gacha because his viewers don't care. I guess that does not apply to others while he does his reformed sinner life coach LARP.

His pre-emptive damage control about his fundraiser streams was also very telling. His defense is that those streams okay because the income of them always went to the stated goals like taxes, and that his fiscal irresponsibility was only concerning 'other money'. That's like an 8-year-old's concept of personal finances, Jesus fucking Christ Phil. There is no 'other money', you're just spending your income without budgeting for basic predictable shit like taxes, while also having zero financial buffer on a fluctuating income. Here he is saying begging for money for outstanding tax payments is okay because mommy said he could spend his 150k a year on ice cream.

I've never bought the idea that Phil intentionally fattened Kat up. I think it's more likely that she's either the type of person who eats whatever she feels like or she's low-functioning enough that she'd need a caretaker to help her make healthy life choices.

One could speculate that she's a stress eater, but she would be far larger dealing with the stress of living with a pathological liar.

Look at all the gay ass decorations he puts up and obsesses over for each holiday/season. Before I was married and I lived alone, I never put up Christmas decorations or decorated for any holidays and none of my friends did either. This is just stuff straight men generally dont care about. Sure if you have a wife and kids you'll do Christmas stuff around the house for them and thats fine, but this isnt stuff that excites straight men like it does phil. Straight men dont feel "festive" about holidays and feel the need to run out to the store and shop for decorations like phil loves doing.

Also if you watch the videos from when he first moved to seattle, he was constantly talking about all the artwork and rugs and decorations he was buying for his new house. The stuff he was worried about like decorating the bathrooms is all stuff the woman would generally be concerned with, not the man.

To be fair this could be just him being autistic rather than a genuine interest, treating his Begacy as a company like he does with treating his dents like employees and using corporate lingo. Eh tbh you can chalk this stuff up to a lot of different things that are clearly in play with Phil. For one thing, he's a professional schtreemer you moulth-drewling morahn, which means all the cheesy lights and faff he surrounds his setup with are all about signaling to YOU, that's right YOU, the VIEWER, that he's a machoor business-style professional. The seasonal decorating also plays into that.

He's also a pathological consoooomer and all the decorations and bullshit are another excuse to burn money on frivolous crap in pursuit of that dopamine hit.

Again, I'm not hard-stanceing against him being gay. I feel like one thing that's being lost a little bit in the rest of the absolute insanity that's been going on is just how much all these leaked DM-style situations continue to expose how full of shit Phil has always been when it comes to his content always being "real" and "authentic." He has spent years dogging on other streamers/content creators for faking drama or staging things and claiming he's above all that - meanwhile, his DMs show over and over how desperate he is to manufacture his own VIRAL content with anyone who'll listen.

That's actually a better way to put it: I don't think Phil is consciously concealing from the world that he actively fantasizes about men in a sexual manner, or has gay encounters, or jerks it to guys. I could believe that he's extremely repressed, and that had he not completely closed off the possibility to his conscious mind, he'd  maybe be an out-and-out gay guy, but I think his sexuality is overall extremely stunted due to the previously-outlined circumstances, and that this paired with how obviously repellant the notion of accepting himself as gay would be to his psyche (even when he was larping as Inclusive Lib Phil) precludes him from actually like, seeking the BBC. Are his various male obsessions some kind of weird sublimation of deeply repressed and unexplored hangups regarding his sexuality and/or masculinity? Yeah, probably.

I think Phil is into men but also his mind hasn't advanced past age 12. Listen to him talk.
