Well one clear difference is that Suzi knows what she is talking about, has a very real passion for games and does actual work to make quality content.

Her only real fault is that she tend to (at times) maybe be a bit to much of a fangirl and gloss over potential problems with the games she covers. But quality content so very unfair comparison

I saw the video where Phil beat Justin Wong in one of the SF2 versions at Evo East (it's the one where he REEEs about Daigo as he's trundling off the stage). He used Bison and did some kind of corner trap shit that was just repeating the exact same 3 move combo over and over (standing kick, low kick, scissor kick). Execution was obviously involved, and I'm not knocking that, but doing it meant that your opponent either took chip damage until death or was forced to eat a hit and hope they could somehow escape after that.

He would absolutely exploit any cheap tactic he could to win. He's just too shit now to pull them off.

This asshole would play as Kirby in Smash 64 (spam up tilt) or Ice Climbers in Melee and Brawl (wobble/infinite chain grab).

Phil is scared to death of touching anything from Arc System Works ever again. After the glorious salt that was Granblue, it’s no wonder why he hasn’t touched Strive. Just wait until he gets his shit rammed in with KoF XV. It's basically like 2 additional Akumas were added to the game and they were "balanced" the same way as Akuma, they have the lowest health and stun gauge just like Akuma, but that doesn't mean much when their offense is godlike.

I want to break down this video Phil made asking for engagement:

1:20 "This year I'm making a major push to rebrand this channel and to attempt to get this channel back into some kind of prominence on youtube". First of all, how are you attempting to rebrand your channel? you literally do nothing different, you streams are the same thing they were from the beginning, all you did was not call yourself "the king of hate" anymore because that's not politically correct in the current year and you started calling your pre-stream a "podcast" when it's just the same unnecessary cope/therapy session that shares no similarities with any podcast out there. You are not changing your identity you are doing the same as when you started, since Phil loves restaurant analogies so much it would be like if a restaurant serves disgusting inedible food and when no one is coming anymore the restaurant owner decides to change the name but keeps everything the same as it was before the name change.

He talks about improving his discoverability and seems to have the idea in his head that if he gets more likes and comments his channel is going to be recommended and
that he will appear in the search results more favorably, first of all youtube recommendations are based on what you watch, for example if I watch english speaking Hololive Vtubers I get recommendations for english speaking Hololive Vtubers, even though other Vtubers exist I never get recommendations from any of them, in the same vein I never get videos or streams of other normie streamers recommended to me, I'm sure Pewdiepie and Dr. Disrespect have dozens of thousands of viewers per stream but they never show up in my recommended videos/streams because you recommended videos are based on what you watch, Phil having 100 likes per video is going to do nothing regarding the youtube recommendations since no one watches Darksydephil related content unless it's detractor videos, and in that case they will get recommended more detractor videos. I guess you could make an argument that sometimes when you are watching videos about a topic sometimes you get recommended videos about the same topic made by other channels but that's not the same because we are talking about gaming here, gaming is such an oversaturated market that if you watch Oneyplays you don't get Game Grumps recommended to you or to make it more like in Phil situation, it would be like thinking that if you watch any gaming stream you will get recommended a random channel that gets 1k views per video.

Second when it comes to him showing up in the search results if you look up Darksydephil you get (and will always get) one hundred detractors videos showing Phil toxicity
and general retardation rather than his shitty streams, that's never gonna change since there are TIHYDP with dozens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of views,
the down the rabbit hole video and all the video exposing him, also you have the gundam video that has like 1 million views, search results are never gonna favor him
because it's his 1k view video with 100 likes compared to videos that are incredibly more popular. This is what you get if you search darksydephil, you get two shitty
videos from Phil with 200 views and then you get videos that expose him that have hundreds of thousands to millions of views, it's never gonna happen Phil all of your
wheelchairs could like,comment and share you videos all over the internet and nothing is gonna change,you made your made now lie in it.

3:25 he talks about how important engagement is and how comments are important for engagement, now Phil if comments are so important then why do you only allow
comments that suck your dick? you are getting way less comments than usual that way and therefore less engagement, it also raises a huge red flag for any new viewer to see
that the guy whose video you are watching doesn't allow people to speak freely and will only allow people to hear what he wants you to hear, for example years ago
when TotalBiscuit was still alive and making videos I came across one of his videos, I saw that his video had no comments and thought "well that's odd", I went to more
of his videos and they also had no comments so I concluded that TotalBiscuit is a pussy bitch that won't allow people to criticize his videos and I never watched him again,
that's how normal people feel when they see a channel only allows approved comments.

At 3:40 he says that he is getting consistently 100 likes on all of his streams,but that only helps the stream when they are live,because when he takes the stream off then
all of those likes are "gone", so he knows that by privating the video he is hurting his discoverability but he does it anyway because by taking down the stream he can
hide the in between recordings begging segments and he can hide the chat. So he knows that he is hurting his metrics by taking down the stream but hiding information is more
important,gotcha.

Phil is also completely unrealistic in that he believes that 100% of his viewers are gonna like the video, it reminds of that one time not long ago when he said something like
"there are 300 viewers on the stream but only 280 members" (it was around those numbers), this mother fucker non ironically wants 100% of his viewers to be members,
to leave a like on the video and to leave a positive comment, that doesn't happen with any other content creator on the internet, I know Phil milks his paypigs dry
since he makes ridiculous money considering how small his fanbase is but this is unrealistic,you will never have 100% of your viewers becoming members,liking and leaving
comments.

Btw he didn't admit any fault when he said "I'm gonna take 100% responsibility", if you listen to what he said right after that he said that he lost interest in youtube
the moment KO gaming got demonetized and when the ad revenue went down in 2017 so he decided to focus on twitch, that's not admitting fault because in other words what
he said is "Yes it is 100% my fault,I'm gonna take responsibility, when a bunch of things outside of my control happened and there was nothing I could do I took the incredibly
correct decision of focusing on twitch because if you are smart you would realize that youtube was a waste of time and focusing on twitch is better" if you say that
you took the right decision then you are not admitting fault because it's the equivalent of saying "I made a bad decision because I made the best decision that I could have
possibly taken", typical narcissist unable to admit any mistakes.

I also like how it's always the same, Phil's great plan for big changes once again involves him doing absolutely fucking nothing other than begging and you, YES YOU! the
viewer has to do all the job for him. It's funny but predictable how little effort he puts into everything, all of his "big changes" always are one of two things:
1-Him consuming a product that will magically save him (consuming requires no effort) like a new console or a game. It's like a fat guy saying that once he buys certain weight loss product he will stop being fat while changing absolutely nothing about himself (see Boogie and Wings).
2-Him doing nothing and his fans doing all the work for him, Phil needs 350 members, how is he gonna get them? He is gonna keep doing what he is doing and YOU,YES YOU! are gonna become a member because Phil begs for it, he won't offer any rewards or do anything differently, you are the one that has to do all the work. Phil needs more discoverability ,how is he gonna get it? He is gonna do nothing to change his streams in any way and YOU, YES YOU! are gonna leave a like and a positive comment in every video.

First of all, it's not accepting responsibility. He is backed into a corner. Youtube is everything he has left and chosen (by talking shit about Twitch for months). He is just desperate and uses rhetorical tricks. At the same time, it gains him sympathy points among the dentheads.

I am certain of this. In this video he talks about "buying in" and generally demanding actions by his viewers (as always, since forever). But what will he do in return? Approving comments in his gulag? Yesterday he asked his audience to make fan art and other shit for the upcoming new game releases. What will be your reward? Maybe a "thank you" and maybe being mentioned by this lazy, greedy fuck as if you just did a 50 bit cheer. Ungrateful as ever.


That's the reasons he neglected his Youtube audience. 1) While still on Twitch, he thought the money will roll in from ad revenue till the day he gets a fatal stroke. 2) He is the last person who gives a shit what his fans think about him. Has DSP ever been hit by Youtube's infamous unsub waves where they just take away thousands at a time? I think he's the only streamer there that I've never heard complain about it.
