This FF set is massively overpriced and you need to get extremely lucky with the pulls in order to even get your value back. The other thing, and others have made this point before, but he ain't going through the work/small effort of selling any of these cards so any value of any card he pulls (Magic, Pokemon or other) is pretty pointless.

As someone who has only played Final Fantasies I, II, III, VI, and XIII in any significant capacity, I am 100% sure I have more knowledge about the Final Fantasy series than this dude.

In a rare instance of defending Phil, on this point he definitely has more reason than most to think that. DSP trolls are not anywhere near as bad as most lolcows, but things like the Comcast guy don't really happen to normal people.

It's actually kind of ironic that the tameness of his trolls is it's own kind of trolling. They are so mild that most of the damage they inflict is by just making Phil paranoid that they are actually gonna do something to him for a change.

As much as I hate to make pop culture references, it reminds me of that Family Guy bit where Brian was allowed to punch Stewie for the "where's my money" thing. The worst part of it was that he wasn't going to tell him when it was gonna happen. One day, Phil is probably going to end up with an actual, insane troll (probably one of his parasocial whales turned hater) that's out to really hurt him, and he knows it, but it's never going to be as bad as the constant anxiety of waiting for it.

The more I think about it, the more rational it seems. The chance that any given problem of his is actual a secret detractor is low but not zero. No one would have believed you if you'd predicted the Comcast thing or someone fucking Kat's sister. It's entirely possible that it turns out some detractor works at the place handling his packages and posts a video of him putting his dick in Phil's box of Final Fantasy cards to piss on them.
