reminds me of when you accomplish something that takes any amount of time or effort and there's someone (prob projecting) who says "you need to get laid." makes me cringe because it sounds ridiculously insecure and unprovoked, says way more about the person saying it than the person they're saying it to

The only cringy comeback is when you reply to them by acting superior because of them. There's a reason some comebacks are stereotypical. It's the same reason stereotypes exist. They hit a sore spot.
Tumblr troons kept getting banned for saying things like "kill all terfs", and so they/them settled on "pee your pants" as an alternative. That's seriously the origin of that dumbass meme.
Especially since SJWs have seemingly adopted it en-masse after Trumpocalypse. While its amusing how quickly they threw aside their deeply held belief in how trigger warnings were super srs and not funny and important, frankly it was never particularly amusing or effective in getting outraged reactions back when it first entered internet vernacular, and now its just pathetic
