Creepy Unsolved Mysteries - From unsolved murders to unidentified people to unexplained supernatural events, what are some of the creepiest unsolved mysteries you've ever heard of?

The only killer who ever had any kind of common sense (or however much one can have) was Westley Dodd for openly saying that he had to be executed because he'd just find a way to break out and kill more kids. And they killed him.

I'm not a big metal fan but that's interesting. It reminds me of Tool sampling the Area 51 Art Bell call.

But yes. That guy is the only one I know of who publicly said he had to be killed to stop him.

Carl Panzram famously abused anyone who tried to argue he should have clemency for being insane. He wasn’t insane either. He just hated people in general and that included himself. He made it clear that he’d have to be killed to stop him killing.

It's all but officially solved. Runaway girl gets hit by car on highway by drunk teenager during thunderstorm and her family helps her cover it up.
The buried backpack and shirts, though?

This one is technically solved, but I feel like this guy has to have more bodies.
Or her home life was so shitty it was preferable to leave home in the pouring rain.

Her parents were mad that wypipo didn’t do enough to find her. If they’re big enough pieces of shit to do that, then anything they say about her home life is suspect. From your link:

Above this quote in Wikipedia was all the media attention her case received.
So annoying they always demand whites do everything. Go find them yourself, JFC.

It might be because I live near where it happened, but the Tracy Kirkpatrick case has always unnerved me. The fact that the area does not really talk about it much is strange to me.

Tracy was a senior at Brunswick High School in Brunswick, Maryland. She worked at a women’s clothing store in Frederick, a town not far from Brunswick. One night, while she was closing the store, someone came inside and murdered her in the back room before fleeing the scene.
When her father arrived to pick her up after her shift, he discovered that something was wrong. By that point, police were already at the store. The back door had been found open, and investigators did not report any obvious signs of a prolonged struggle at the scene.

In the days after the murder, there were reports connected to unusual phone calls made to authorities by a man who described his involvement in the crime without giving his identity. He stated what had happened, but refused to identify himself and said he would not contact law enforcement again.
There were also later reports of disturbing phone calls received by a psychic in New England, who believed she had been contacted by the same individual. She reportedly alerted police in Frederick after becoming concerned about what she was hearing.

Investigators looked into the calls and attempted to trace their origin to the general Frederick County area, near Brunswick and Walkersville.
Despite these leads and unusual circumstances, the case has never been solved. It remains an open homicide investigation, and it is rarely discussed publicly in the area. I first learned about it through Unsolved Mysteries. There are discussions and documentaries that continue to revisit it, and I hope renewed attention might eventually bring forward new information.
There are also rumors that circulate online, including claims about possible suspects and alleged connections to local figures, but none of that has been proven and it remains hearsay without supporting evidence.

What unsettles me most is not just the crime itself, but how unresolved and quiet it has remained over the years, despite how close to home it is.

It's not an unsolved crime but I'll ask anyway.

Did Eddie Murphy kill that trans sex worker he got caught with, the one that caused him a huge scandal at the time?

I'll add a bit more.

Shalimar Seiuli died after the scandal. His death was ruled an accidental fall. (He fell from his apartment) Maybe it was. But I sometimes wonder.

This was in the late 1990s. A few years after the Hugh Grant arrest. If anyone remembers, his (Hugh's) career nearly was ruined over this and he had to do a public apology tour. It took him a long time to recover.

Eddie Murphy picked the worker up late at night in a known homosexual spot. This made it in all the tabloids and stories were getting sold about it. This could have tarnished his career like it pretty much did with Hugh.

Apparently Shalimar was paranoid that a hit man was going to kill him and he traveled a lot to avoid scandal and he received death threats.

Accident or murder?

Última edición:
I remember his routine about Mr. T yelling “HEY BOY, YOU LOOK MIGHTY CUTE IN THEM JEANS, COME OVER HEAH AND FUCK ME UP THE ASS!”
Not so funny now.
That's the thing. Who knows what happened. Apparently he hired a private investigator to follow the guy around, and at the same time Shalimar was paranoid, but I would be too if I was getting death threats.

He was also wearing lingerie when he was found dead, and he had fallen five stories because he was locked out of his apartment.

But Hollywood has a lot of dark secrets as we all know, and in the 1990s being found with a hooker, especially a transgender one was a huge deal.

Scandals do get silenced, and it's been proven or suspected that murders have happened to silence threats.

This is like baby's first mystery if you grew up reading a shit ton of classic literature and both are also solved down to who/why, but thread tax demands I give a nod to the Tsavo Lions and Champawat Tiger.

Seeing him be called tacky, even back then, did wonders for my soul. Retroactively, of course.

Pearl Pinson, 15, was last seen in Vallejo, California on May 25, 2016. She was walking to the school bus stop, shortly before 7:00 a.m. when a witness saw an armed Hispanic man (later identified as 19-year-old Fernando Castro) dragging her across a pedestrian overpass along Interstate 780 near Taylor Avenue.
Pearl's face was bloody, she was screaming for help, and the witness heard at least one shot. The witness called 911. When the authorities arrived, they found a bloodstain and Pearl's cell phone on the overpass, but there was no sign of Pearl or her abductor.

Some reports state that he was an acquaintance of Pearl's, possibly her boyfriend. However, he was not Pearl's boyfriend and she apparently didn't know him at all; investigators could find no evidence of any prior contact between them, either in person or through social media.

Castro was sighted driving his gold four-door 1997 Saturn in the area of the Sir Francis Drake Boulevard near the San Rafael Bridge in Marin County, California at 9:30 a.m., two and a half hours after Pearl's abduction.
The following afternoon, Castro was sighted driving in San Luis Obispo County, California. Officers with the California Highway Patrol and the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office chased his vehicle into Santa Barbara County.

There was a shootout between police and Castro, and Castro was killed.

The incident took place more than 300 miles south from where Pearl was taken. When police searched his car they found Pearl's blood in the trunk, but they said it was not a large amount, not enough to indicate she'd been seriously injured or killed.
Pearl wasn't with him at the time of his death and she has never been heard from again.

Y'know he should have hit my gaydar sooner considering the amount of cross dressing he's done in films. Yeah not Tyler Perry levels but still.
