Case in point

The death of Mitrice Richardson. Crazy black bitch gets arrested for skipping a bill. Mother begs the police to keep her daughter locked up because she's insane and unmedicated bipolar, however the police are not a fucking babysitting system and let her go because she's an adult under no intoxication and they can't just keep her indefinitely. She later wanders off and dies. Mother sues the sheriffs department for the death. And yet you know damn good and well that if they HAD done a 5051 hold on her, they still would've cried racism and police brutality an sheet. It would've been "Oh the forced hold those horrible wypippo cops made her go through caused her mental break!".

The police aren't responsible for making sure the criminals they arrest have access to a ride home, a cell phone to call people with. She could've done all of that herself while she was still in lockup. There's phones all over the place in jail. Nor can they just keep her locked up because the mom asked them too. She was a grown ass adult who BROKE THE LAW and was arrested. People act like the cops completely failed her but what were they supposed to do? They arrested someone and let them go. Keep her locked up? Racism. Let her go? Incompetence and racism. You can't win with these people.

What was the case of the teen(?) boy found head-down in the chimney of a remote cabin, either shirtless or naked? I believe not only was the chimney grated at the top but the flue was blocked by furniture or a large board he couldn't have replaced. It was in the US.
I remember, his parents locked him out of his house. It was presumed that because of how cold it was outside he was looking for a place to warm up. But what doesn't explain it, was the fact his clothes were found folded nearby.

I've said this more than once and I'll say it again.

Mitrice was apparently in a manic Bipolar state and had also been up for days and sleeping less because of her mania, including posting crazy rambling comments on Facebook that made no sense, because that's what happens when people can get manic.

There's a reason why people say it's more dangerous for a Bipolar person to be manic than depressed. Because they have a way bigger chance of doing something dangerous.

That's why she went to that restaurant, that's why she didn't pay the bill when she had the money in her account, that's why she was rambling at strangers about being from Mars and avenging Michael Jackson's death, and that's most likely why she was able to wander through Los Angeles hills which are very dangerous to walk through. A manic person has a lot of energy.

I can't stand that people ignore all of this.

I think Joshua actually had a pretty nice family who considered him something of a free spirit but were supportive of him. I don't think they locked him out of the house.

There was a case of a guy in Australia, I think his name was Daniel O'keefe, who went missing and then was found by his parents in a crawl space kind of thing in the house's foundation years later. Really creepy.

Another issue with the whole Mitrice Richardson story: the police offered to have her stay in the station to call for a ride home after she was released from jail. She decided to just leave instead of calling her mother for a ride home. The police only keep arrested people in jail (in Los Angeles at least) until the morning when the person is drunk.

She also didn't know the area very well, and she was to my recollection in Malibu. However, a lot of Los Angeles has people at all hours, and the city doesn't really sleep, so she could have easily asked for help if she'd gone to the right places. I've been to the main LA areas, and there's people there all night. Pay phones still existed back then. And so did cell phones.

Mitrice was at the Lost Hills jail in Malibu. That area isn't like downtown LA and it's a lot quieter. It's where the rich types live. So she would have had no ride and she'd be walking a long way to downtown Los Angeles or Hollywood which would have constant activity.

It makes more sense that she wandered all night and then died in the hills, which would be very dark and pitch black until dawn. The smart thing to do would have been staying at the station until morning to call for a ride home to the mother. But she was crazy and manic so of course, she didn't go with the rational choice.

She could've done all of that herself while she was still in lockup.
She tried to call her grandma or great-grandma who didn't pick up while locked up, the same one who tried to pay the bill for the restaurant using a credit card over the phone. For some reason she didn't call her mother.

My opinion as someone who can relate to her, instead of claiming she was murdered by the police, her parents should use their daughter as an example for why mental illness should be treated with medication and therapy, because if Mitrice had been treating it, she'd probably still be alive.

It astounds me how quickly people are to dismiss the Elisa Lam case (and to be clear, I don't think there was anything supernatural or malicious about that case either) as "Just" a bipolar break but yet when it comes to this case everyone bends over backwards to try and blame the police and act like there can't be any possible mental health related issues to her behavior. The double standard is glaring.

Same kind of deal, yes. From what I remember with Elisa is that she went off her Bipolar medications, and that's why she had the ending she got. It was a mental break and psychotic state from not taking her medications, which is very dangerous, because the medication keeps moods leveled.

I'm rewatching the Kenneka Jenkins case to get the details of that situation as well. I forgot that Kenneka was partying with a bunch of criminals and thugs who had rented a room with a stolen credit card. There's a high chance they drugged her, which explains how she went from walking around normally in the earlier tapes to practically falling on her face in the later footage. I know she was very drunk, but she seemed drugged. Not just regular drugs, which from what I read she was on.

This isn't a murder case. It's a cautionary tale to not hang out with criminals because this is the kind of outcome you'll get if you're around people like that.

She was hanging out and partying with a bunch of scummy and sleazy people, and got drugged and ended up dying accidentally. Don't hang out with scum.

First of all, that sheriff's station is in Calabasas, not Malibu.

Secondly, Malibu is in LA county but not the city. There's a long, rural stretch between Malibu and the City of LA.

I don't think you CAN walk between one and the other, unless you want to go on the side of the highway with no sidewalk. It's Bus Ride territory.

The smart schizo would have loitered in front of the police station until daylight, then caught the bus home.

I've been to both. They look the same to me so I just put them all together. I've also been to Hidden Hills (only because I knew builders who were fixing Drake's home) and all that shit is the same.

Yes, I know Malibu isn't the city. That was my point. She'd have to walk very far and there weren't buses.

To make it more clear, I was saying if she was in Los Angeles the city, she would have found people to help her out since that place has people at all hours. Instead she was in buttfuck nowhere in Malibu which is more quiet and if you're there late at night, you're fucked.

This is basically the Atlanta child killer.

"Could it be da gay black man standing around on the corner tryna get them keeds nta his basement?

  • police heard him throw something into a river and found a body a few days later downstream
  • found nylon rope and gloves in car
  • gave an alibi that he was going to meet some woman for an appointment in a nearby town. it was really late and upon investigation there was no record of the woman living in said town
  • fibers on victims matched fibers from car, home, and dog
  • handed out fliers in black neighborhoods in order to lure victims
  • failed a polygraph
  • was seen by an eyewitness walking with a victim on the night the victim died
  • killings stopped after he was arrested
musta been da white man

in my head i always get the atlanta child killings mixed up with the oakland county child killer. that case is a real shitshow involving coverups, the son of a rich GM executive, and a literal fucking confirmed pedophile ring on a nearby island (north fox island).

Oh my fucking god, Facebook groups on true crime are unreadable because of this shit.

They're insufferable about freezer girl and mat boy. They repeat bullshit internet rumor and straight up lies about cases then refuse to entertain any sort of evidence that doesnt fit their narrative and start bleating about how it's all a conspiracy against black people.

HIS ORGANS DONE GONE AND THOSE TWO WHITE BOYS DID IT.

And good luck getting them to understand paradoxical undressing. Trying to reason with them is exactly like the SpongeBob meme.
